Though I am not trying to justify a man having affair outside marriage, its wrong, but women over the years are known to be more reserved unlike what we see today. It is not news if a man has 2 wives but it is news for a woman to have 2 husbands. In the African set up, when a married woman have sex outside marriage, it either affects the husband or the children. I met an ex few years back who wanted us to get back to our old act, I told her it has negative effect, she told me to forget that thing. From her stories, she has been having it out. Months later, the son was killed in a ghastly motor accident. She told me a story of her friend who is also into it. That what she does is that when it is time for he to have another baby she smartly avoids the guy outside so as to be sure the child belongs to her husband after which she resumes.Another case happened to my relation. All the children became sick and could not get well with normal hospital medication. They were at the point of death before their mother confessed. My conclusion is that people should try and be faithful to one partner, though I know its not easy even to me as a person. And because that of married women always have repercussions, they have to think properly before venturing into it especially if they care about their family.

At least anyone that reads my post very well will understand that I talked about being faithful to a partner. Being faithful doesn't come easy at all, not for the men and neither for the women too. But anyone who values their home will not want to destroy it with infidelity. Apart from having children outside your marriage, you could also infect that innocent partner of yours with diseases among many other things.

Anyone who doesn't trust their partner enough might as well run a DNA test to ascertain their paternity. The men should also run a paternity test on those women they've been sleeping with outside their marriage too, don't you think? Because for all they know they might also have a child outside without them knowing.

Infact let the DNA test begin because from the comments and reactions I have seen so far, it is as if the men are no longer bothered about their wives cheating on them as long as they don't pin another man's child on them. I strongly disagree with you on that. Many men will rather face their job/family than to start investigating a woman that is a professional cheat. who told you it did not happen in our father and mothers' time..at least I know of one case in the early 90's while growing up.the difference then was that there was no DNA to ascertain the paternity of the child.It has been there since and not a recent development.Cheating from both parties brings pain to both the husband or the wife who happens to be victims..while women's consequences of infidelity could result to to pinning another man's pregnancy on their husband to train, the husband on the other hand could contact STD'S from his affair and transfer to his wife..or still other women could get pregnant for him and pin it on other men..so in both ways both parties in the union who cheat do suffer the same consequences of heart break. No one is better than the other. So men should remain faithful to their wives while the wives to do the same to their husbands. No gender has a monopoly to cheat.
