TheVictorious:Exactly! We need to prioritize quality above quantity. We have numerous Universities that can't compete. I really don't want to run down this private university because it is new but on second thought Afe is also young but started quite strong infrastructurally. So there you have it(summit university library in Kwara) pls why should a university library look like this One may argue that it is a new university but so is Elizade and ABUAD. Everyone does not need to build universities. You can build a college of education if that is all you can afford but unfortunately even some state universities' library look equally scrappy.

Madonna university needs to be investigated, my sister did law in the school. Although she has graduated now but not after paying tuition fee for 3 extra year. My dad was virtually resident there, he had to abandon his work most times to give support to my sister, at a point he was assisting the lecturers to look for results/CA. He paid so much that I was pitying him, Madonna university really really suffer us. Father Edeh needs to be investigated. He's a scam and a fraudulent person |

Statsocial:Lool. I don't understand what's going on. Could they officials have been bribed to accredit this. We well meaning Nigerians need to write to NUC ASAP. |
| Re: Madonna University As A Ponzi Scheme In Nigeria by otokx(m): 11:07am On Jun 08, 2017 |
TheVictorious:What will NUC do that they have not done before? |
| Re: Madonna University As A Ponzi Scheme In Nigeria by Nobody: 11:10am On Jun 08, 2017 |
TheVictorious:There's something going wrong in NUC that I don't understand at all. Well this particular one is a Muslim university and I believe religious sentiments might have allowed them to water down the accreditation process. But the public secondary school I attended looks more befitting than this so called university. |

Run away from any Cleric owned organization or religious owned organization. They are the worse set of people to deal with. Come to Aqua Rapha and See how much slave they have made from people. Trust Enugu people to embrace slavery in the name of working for their daddy Mbaka. #SayNoToSlavery |

We should take this to Twitter tag Madonna and the nuc, make this problem trend so it can gain wider coverage #MadonnaUniversityScam |

Juanthenairague:are you a vamp? Everything the OP said is true. Lots of people have been victims of the school's cruel schemes and a lot of destiny have been quite ruined. True some people made it out there and few are finally successful but more destinies have been altered and ruined because of what the OP described. Anyone that leaves the school quickk enough will still have time to get back on track |

mhistaGodsboi: The school doesn’t care about student’s feelings or their good interest rather they bring up policies against the interest and joy of Students,OP the school has rules before you were admitted. You signed an undertaking to abide by the rules and regulations governing the university, it was not forced on you. Some times when foreigners visits our school, he introduces us as less privileged people that is under his sponsorship.I was in Madonna for five years and i cannot collaborate your story. In 2016 when students where transferring from The school to other universities due to Maltreatment in the school, they increased the transcripts fee from #40.000 to #500.000 which made many students drop out because they cannot afford the school fees again and they cannot afford the transcript fee.OP this is a big fat lie. I still dont know what you stand to gain with this. As at 2010 when i graduated, transcript was 15k. last year when i got transcript for my masters, i paid 20k for local and 25k for international. So there has never been a time transcript was 40k. Presently now Madonna is providing the Highest spillover students in the country, 40% to 45% spilled because of either philosophy, theology, German or French and sometimes the tell u your script is missing or they will tag it Excess credit Load. In some many cases lecturers will give u CA but at the End of the day Exams and record will say u don’t have CA , Sometimes they do this just for you to spill and pay fees again. Now this is the biggest lies you have told in your write up. OP i didn't have a carry over throughout my stay. The courses you are mentioning are not offered by every department. And the ones that do, there are credit units attached to them. If you fail a course, you write it again. Its the same rules everywhere in the world. Stop spreading falsehood. Please which one is excess credit load? You don't know how weighting system works? And how did you arrive at your statistics? NBS? Finally, Madonna University like any other institution has its own challenges and peculiarities and they are actually not contained in your write up. Private schools have rules which is expected that you adhere to because you signed and agreed to obey. No one stops you from leaving the school if you are fed up. Please i want to advise the OP to stop spreading falsehood and smearing the name of an institution that has thousands of graduates out there. And yes, I graduated from the school and i am doing just fine in my Career. |

To some people up there, there's no amount of damage control you can make to hide the fact that Madonna university is a horrible school. Shebi you studied and graduated for yourself alone, therefore you are speaking for yourself and not for the hundreds of other students that are badly affected. Naturally the school cannot possibly frustrate everyone, so we are considering the percentage. |

Juanthenairague:OK, sorry bro... I don't normally do that sha.. but you wear calmly twisting the whole thing to blame the op that he must have failed jamb, or he's a social media wannabe, when we know that all he's seeking for is justice. But you were trying to digress his point which was wrong. |

The father must be a member of knight templar, the man behaves like a medieval catholic priest. God knows why I don't really like private universities in Nigeria. Many things are happening in most of these schools. From stringent rules and regulations to ripping off students of their hard earned money from their parent. |

Very useless school. I have said it before here on Nairaland and I will continue to say it. If you finish from that school without hassles, you need to do a super thanksgiving ceremony. |

No, you got my point wrong. I've made inquiry about his allegations and most of them are lies. Let me make something clear here...he who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones, if the OP is a student of the said university or he has their certificate, trying to get one or probably have his loved ones there, should be mindful of his allegations and campaign in order not to reap something different at a long run probably when he's seeking for a job with the school cert he's painting evil, employers are watching/listening to all ds pops.information travels faster now thanks to social networking. cos this is exactly what is making rave in my office right now cos everybody is being fed with wrong reasons about poor education system coming from d school. If the OP doesn't know how to write a well tailored petition to the right bodies (NUC or Ministry of education) concerning his said reasons, then again he should communicate better with his sponsors (parents) to help him out and not causing issues for the gradaute that have their certificates or the aspiring ones. Enough of ds silly campaign. I can't find myself saying poo about my school cos I made the choice and I've got to take responsibilities. Thank you pinkpant: |
