Thank God for a successful visa interview at the abuja consulate. It was smooth though I was panicking inside when the vo was interviewing me. The interview was on weds 7 june 2017 7:30am batch. The V.O was denying people but I was just meditating my prophetic word and saying to myself I wont go back with my passport.

V.O: pass me ur passport and i20?
Me: I obliged
Vo: why are u going to arkansas
Me: I'm going for a graduate certificate program in university of arkansas at little rock
Vo: how did you hear about this school?
Me: initially the school was recommended to me by my mentor who's a lecturer and also a consultant to total energy nigeria who tells me about the academic excellence and the research opportunities the school provides.
Vo: how many schools did u apply to?
Me: 3
Vo: name them?
Me: Humboldt state university, Cleveland state university, and Ualr

Me: engineering technology and I will be specializing in technology innovation in renewable energy

V.o: I will be holding on this (my statement of acc and transcript) for verification and you will have it with ur passport in 3-4 days.
And he hands me two white papers and said congratulations the small white paper will guide u on what to take along to the port of entry. Have a nice stay.

You are just wasting your time,, No one can help you with VISA. Not even an American citizen. If you want a VISA, go online and check for the one you qualify for then apply and be ready to convince a VO. you don't need to send any passport or whatsoever. You better be careful that the 'Female Black American' is not just a 'yahoo boy' posing as a female, if you get scammed, you have yourself to blame. Truth they say is bitter

Dear all, please I have a challenge, someone in the US paid for my SEVIS fee on Wednesday via mail (money order). I have been tracking it and recently got notification (yesterday) that it has been delivered. I understand Saturday is a non working day for SEVP, however my interview is for Wednesday ( i.e 3 days time). I am a bit scared that the processing of the SEVIS fee might take long and may not be out by Tuesday. As such, I will like to know how long it will take (the money order having been delivered), before I am able to go online to check status and print confirmation. Will it be online on or before Tuesday? Assuming it is not, how flexible is the cancellation and rescheduling process? Can I cancel and still reschedule for this week or will only a longer date be made available to me?

I will appreciate your feedback.
