Good afternoon sis...
Pls ao were u able to book ur cs in 2 days....am presently in Brampton and haven't been able to get an appointment with any gynea.
The docs that were even displayed here for brampton are claiming not to accept cash patients....
Kindly assist with ur doc contact
Thank you.

Hi EmaShah2017.

I wish you a safe delivery.

Whilst using the 4-in-1 option....remember that you are a temporary resident and your child is not entitled to privileges such as child care benefits; thus pick just the birth registration and leave other options for later when the child is ready to live in Canada.

Make sure you pay for both long and short certificate.

Also make sure you tick Doctor as the presiding birth attendant; I clicked on 'other' and it gave me a lot of stress.

Best of luck and GOD's favour in the delivery room.

Hi Teefinix,

I didn't give birth via CS. I used Dr. Kayode Ayodele, his office is just beside Brampton Civic Hospital, there are lots of gynaes in this office complex - I won't post his phone number but you can check him at 2250 Bovaird Drive East Brampton.

Dr. Ayodele doesn't have such great reviews online but I think it's because he is pretty straight-forward and doesn't talk so much....but he is quite knowledgeable.

There was a really nice gynae that attended to me when Dr. Ayodele was on vacation, unfortunately I can't remember his name but he is in the same building as Dr. Ayodele

I don't have access to the mail I used to open the Nairaland account.

Relax....you will get a good deal.

Please go through the thread....someone testified not too long ago about how her gynae at Brampton helped her use a day for CS delivery....and I think she put up his details...just use the search option for Brampton

All the hospitals here is good trust me. so u know if u r considering humber river, ur dr has to be attached to that hospital. a dr that works in brampton cannot deliver in humber river

I am in Vaughan if u r considering it.

dr 1600
hospital i think is 2500
baby 640

will get break down from my friend. hospital fee is basically 2500 across all hospitals nd baby fee. its drs fee that can differ cuz each set their own fee

Hello HOTSTEPPER,
Thanks and good enough i have not finalized plans yet.
I will look into Vaughan District now, i see it's within Toronto and Brampton which is what i want for easy playing 'around'.
But hope living expense is not too high and which 2 bed apartment would you recommend for August 18 to Oct 30.
God blessings on you always and the rest of us in here not forgetting VIRT my 1st e-friend.
@HOTSTEPPER, Pls what hospital at Vaughan do you recommend for me and few of us here.
PLEASE DO NOT BREATH HOT ON ME NOW...... I AM JUST A SMALL FRY LOOKING FOR BIG AND CHEAPEY THINGS.
Thanks always.

Hello @ urblackpearl. here's a breakdown of the bill I paid at bc. I travelled at 34weeks birthed at 38 weeks plus
1st visit with the family dr-160cad
subsequent visits/prenatals-75cad(had 4 visits)
drs fee-2000
hospital bills(cuts across all of b.c cos Fraser Health is in charge of health services in b.c)
3530 cad-maternity
1350 cad- natural delivery
1070 cad- newborn fee

the bill would have ended here but I got another bill of 1450 cad for routine medical tests they did for the baby (which I was told was free @ the hospital)

they took all my blood tests but was made to do strep b, and another one which cost 100 cad.

baby's pasport -107 cad for express (took 5days)

express mail(Canada post) to nig high commission in Ottawa from b.c-75 cad . very crappy service. didn't get the mail after 6 days & had to pick up d baby's E.T.C @ Canada post sorting ctr @Richmond after repeated calls.

E.T.C- 100cad

This is a rough estimate of the bill. been trying to upload the sheet containing the different charges from Fraser Health but it's not uploading...

I hope this helps you ......All the best in your endeavours

Hi Teefinix,

sorry just seeing your post.

If you are in Brampton, then you can use Dr. Abou Seido, he accepts cash payment because I paid cash. He is on the same building with Dr .Ayodele at 2250 Bovaird Drive East, Suite 503. Brampton, ON L6R 0W3. With phone number 905-595-4960. Also, Brampton Civic hospital accepted me as a cash patient.

MY first appointment was at 34 weeks.

Just call or ask your host to call. I really don't understand the other doctors' rationale of not accepting cash patient, that sounds like discrimination to me because not everybody in Canada needing medical attention need to have a health card. Maybe you should ask them why, because as medical professionals they should not but barriers to the category of patients they should give medical care to.
