I am about to reapply as the issue has been duely addressed by my school but my sponsor is saying i dont need all the supporting documents again that i only need to provide the concerns of the vo on my next app. This is getting me confused as i dont know how else to convince him. Please i need your candid advice.

Thank you, I will even beat that guy's record with the way I'm going grin , I thought attaching proposal may limit my chances, since I can easily research any aspect of Telecommunications but my proposal focuses on security. However, I will go with your advice. Also, I was advised to attached CV, any need for it?

Attaching proposal may limit chances when you don't clearly state that you are open to more topics. Use the body of the email to your advantage.

Attach Resume and your degree certs and or transcripts if available. I did that for mine.

Good luck.

1. I don't think the PGD gives any extra advantage in applying for a masters cos your undergraduate degree result will still be used for admission.
2. Yes, you will get only a one year visa
3. Yes you can work, however it is almost impossible to work and earn money enough to pay up the remaining semester fees because you are only entitled to work 20hrs/ week and minimum wage is about CAD$11.
4. No, ideally you are not allowed to work until you school resumes. so even if you differ your admission, you have to wait till you start classes before you work.
I'll advice that you try to get your one year tuition fees before traveling so you won't end up stranded and out of status in Canada. to be honest, the money you will make for part time work will almost be exhausted after paying for rent, feeding and transportation.

I stand to be corrected, deleting visa denial is almost impossible because it's locked down in the system.. Get the agent arrested and demand for a refund

I am not confusing anyone bro. If your program wants you obtain a supervisor, they will tell you. It's not a hidden secret left for you to decipher. If they don't, they will tell you. I applied to nine Canadian schools and programs. Many wanted me to obtain supervisors and I did. An equal number didn't want me to obtain supervisors and I didn't. They are appointed to you if you are admitted. Contacting and obtaining a supervisor at a school that did not ask you to obtain one is extraneous and will not give you an edge. If you got in, it's the power of your credential and what you had to write on your thesis proposal. Funny enough, almost all the school's I got into are the ones that require me NOT to obtain a supervisor. All the schools I got rejected are the ones that require me to get supervisors and I did. For example I got into Queens with almost full scholarship and a supervisor is not appointed until I step on campus. I turned down the offer anyways as well as those of 5 other schools.
Chairman you get mouth your head dey there. Please send me that proposal stuff have been waiting since. Thanks

Hello bosses,

With respect to obtaining a supervisor before applying, @osemigho and @jnyuwa02, both have valid points.

However, getting one is always encouraged. Most unis dont require you to get a supervisor before applying but if you can get one, please do.

There is no hard rule for admission except the fact that the application package is reviewed wholistically...

@jnyuwa, u don apply for trv?
