We cannot completely sideline them but there are things we can do to considerably minimize their power especially when it comes to the writing of the constitution - this is were it starts. In addition, I am of the opinion that the average Yoruba is a progressive. So, it would be relatively easy for progressives to take on the mantle of leadership of the new nation.
