Anyone here staying in New York that can accommodate moi for a couple of hours? I would appreciate it. As I wouldn't want to stay at the airport for that long period. Thanks.

You can use Naija account, sure. That is not a problem at all. You can hold your ds form until you have all the info you need to complete it, and then, you should keep the generated code number very well, as you would need it to continue later. Keep your security questions too. If you have other issue, write to me. I will be willing to help!

Check the transit accommodation for the airline you booked with. Most airlines e.g Qatar Airways offer transit hotel accommodation for layovers that are more than 8hours

I think it all depends on the schools you are applying to. Most top and average schools require at least one of the tests. But that does not mean there are top schools that won't admit you without taking tests. Another reason to take the test is that it helps at the embassy.

On scholarship, most MS candidates get their assistantship after their first semester as most professors reserve those positions for PhD candidates. But the best way is to identify a professor whose research interests you, talk to him/her about your common interests and request if you can join their research group. At that point, by default, they tell you if they have assistantship for you or not.

Brov, you've gotta chill since your school's resumption date is still kinda blurry. Plus your study plan is what we don't know either it requires tests scores which I believe you might not cover before the deadlines of most schools for spring semester. My opinion tho.

There are two path...
Msc then phd
Phd direct program

Regarding both steps you have to check directly with the school what programs they offer and what requirement. It can differ from school to school

am still going for interview soon but if it's Abuja and is that black American lady just know its not your fault because she normally denied students with scholarship for no good reason. I have heard a lot of stuff about her. Just apply soon and God will direct the right person for you.
