fatiaforreal:Lol Brother even if it's certificate of ownership anyday the indigenous people of the state gets really serious the ibos no matter their investment will get out for them BT that doesn't deny the fact that every other tribe in Nigeria envy the Igbo nation.Kiss the truth. It's painful as I will nt like to see the Yoruba men own even 30% of properties in my state but it's what has come to be not only in that state but most other states in Nigeria. |

You see, still yet they complain about everything. Tell me in which Igbo e.g Enugu can an outsider own landed property lets take a population count. Our Igbo brothers should learn to be grateful and satisfied. |

KINGwax007:In a strange land? ND u try to still make us believe dat we re one in dis country. We claim to b one bt over 90% investment in d east belongs to d igbos while igbos re called fools for investing in d same nation we claim to b one. Dis nation needs more Dan restructuring, cos I can see that we re nt just suffering from tribalism bt envy!!. |

Viergeachar:You are very very ignorant. Have you been to Ekiti state? You need to keep quiet. None of the 16 LGA's in Ekiti state can be compared to a single LGA in Imo state including Ado. Go and sleep. |

Viergeachar:The SE is dry and eroded? OK I concur. What of NW,NC,NE,SS All of the above regions can testify of the importance of the presence of the igbos in their regions but can they say thesam of yorubas. Brother I like yorubas o In fact my gf is a yoruba but believe me you guys can never be us and we can never be you. That's the way it is naturally. If we leave SW for you guys you will find out that it's nt as easy as you think after all .You will know how important we are to you. |

baddooboys:You should believe the data on owners of CofOs issued in Lagos, that have been captured at the Lands Registry and Ministry of Housing in Alausa. Do your research and compare it with Fashola's stories.... |

biodunid:Good point, a governor sign less than 50 cofos on the average per year, now what does 70 percent of 50 translate to, besides the governor noted it, cos it is an aberration and he gave reason for it, he ascribed it to indigenes fleeing cos of the never ending crisis there. I go to court most of the times and in most courts on matters dealing with recovery of possession, igbos are always the defendants, that does not give me the right to say that igbos don't own properties in Lagos or else where. it is just plain stupid to Arbitrary carve out crazy unsubstantiated stats. |

and they did not try to claim ownership of plateau like the hausa//Muslims have been doing. |

sarrki:All the way from Anambra down to Orlu a suburb there was no mold house, but recent and modern buildings... Travel and see for yourself. A man shouldn't stay in a room when he can make life easier and happier owing a property anywhere. |

Dumaknesset:Wait, o! For Igbos to be mostly the defendants in lawsuits relating to recovery of properties, it means they are mostly the defaulting tenants who are owing their landlords huge arrears of rents, not so? |

koladebrainiac:And so what? Show us the statistics otherwise I don't believe you. This is a mere propaganda to patronize the Igbos. Nigerians have been in the wuru wuru business even before Lord Luggard's arrival. 70% of land c of o.? 1. Means the Igbo people are trustworthy. They make official what ever property they acquired(nice one). Jisie nụ ikẹ 2. It means the Igbo population is equally 70% in Plateau State (applause) 3. Hope same Igbo 70% is reflected in the census statistics of that State too? 4. No alarm! Any Lebanese can own 80% of V/I in Lagos. There's no crime in it. Likewise any Yoruba can own 90% of properties in the East if they have the will power. |
