Leigh, I have never been one to comment on stories I read here (wonder why).

Anyway, I have been reading and following all your stories.

Yesterday, I read your last update, just before bed. Your narrative on the child's decapitation was so very vivid. I did not think much of it, said my prayers and went to bed.

For the first time in forever, I had a nightmare. I relieved all of that poor baby's suffering. Funny enough, I kept telling myself to wake up, that it was a dream.

When my husband eventually woke me up, as I was thrashing about so much, I quickly rushed to check up on my kids.

The essence of my essay, is to say, well done. Thank you for being an awesome writer and making my day.

More ink to your pen.

Hi Audrinakane, I did predict someone would call it out.

Yes this story is linked to 'The River' it always has been.

Hence why I said I would need to catch up on a few things, The River being one of them.

'The Auction just seemed to push along quicker for me than The River.

I think the boy in the River scared me a lot wink

But I think I have banished the writers block, plus I have to do a lot of research on things.

We need to leave Linda for a while to reflect on what has happened before we return to her.

Thank you Audrinakane for reading my stories...

going back to the dark room smiley

I suspected the same thing as well. Your writing is so graphic Leigh. So alive and very, very educative. Weldone.

hmm Lleigh pls this pain is unbearable for linda will ask GOD for forgiveness and GOD do forgive us our iniquity bible say no sinner shall go unpunish but this punishement of linda is too much to bear i really pity linda and Lliegh u are the only one that can free linda i knw she had learnt her lesson pls lliegh free her for me biko n nu abeg .. thumb up sister kudos to u .i dont knw how to describe you in one word u a great ,. indeed more grease to ur elbow Lliegh more popcorn for u i cant wait for ur next update Lliegh

That's it, Linda hasn't learnt her lesson. She is yet to be truly repentant. I know she is suffering greatly but know this, we must all face the consequences of our actions. Even if we ask for forgiveness, God will surely forgive us but He will not take away the consequences of our disobedience. In that way, we learn our lessons the very hard way and our repentance becomes truly genuine and heartfelt because we now know first the consequences of a repeat of such disobedience.

So let's allow Leigh to write her story without whining about the horror of the events. Hopefully, there are some people out there who can really learn from this story and mend their disobedient ways.

What I got from the river page 8

"the first baby came out, Mother Teresa cleaned the baby, it had blue eyes and pale white skin." and where you wrote "she came back in and helped your mother as she pushed out the second baby, it also had blue eyes and white skin."

your mother kept on mumbling the same thing over and over again "they are the same but different. they are all one but different. the three of them are the same but different."

the first two babies that came out were boys, the two sets of parents, Mother Teresa had lined up each took a child and we never heard from them again."

with these, it is very safe to say that lucien and charles are both elder brothers of eliora. and she will be the only one that will unravel the mistery of who the two really are. unfortunately, they are bond by blood and that will be her greatest challenge.

i see linda surviving this in the end but how soon is what i can't say.

Yes that poor baby's suffering is very graphic, I could not write that at night as the image of the boy haunted me too.

But such things happen in society unfortunately.

Thank you.

hello greatface wink

you didn't forget what i mentioned in passing. You have been following my stories wink thank you

As I mentioned above, the two stories have always been linked, without one there would not have been the other.

invariably I got more involved with Linda, she is such a character. cheesy

I realised that one the stories was too descriptive as someone told me on the thread, too much story isn't wanted. It helped explain why I had no comments.

So it's now straight to the action wink

Thank you for reading my stories though, much appreciated, when you come out of GM once in a while smiley

And thank you for saying not to fear.

Re: The Auction by Nathblessing(m): 11:34am On Jul 18, 2017
Lleigh, i just finished reading the river. Both stories are somhw interwoven. And from what i can deduce, its only Eliora that can help us unravel a whole lot. I hope Edward isnt one of the triplets since he was chosen by Baba especially with the mysteries surrounding their birth.....
Phew!!! I dont even understand what i'm typing sef...
Waiting patiently for you to unravel all mysteries.
Your descriptive ability is unrivaled aswear. I ve never seen a writer with such descriptive prowess. Thumbs up ma. You are doing a great job here......

It is indeed very sad that these atrocities keep going on, unchecked. May God help us all and keep our kids safe and on the straight and narrow path.

Keep writing Leigh. Lots of respect.
