Thumps up Lleigh, you are a great writer.
I believe the woman who has Lola now is the same woman that bought Linda, but let me keep my fingers crossed.

1. Authors have a tendency of scattering your favorite character's life.

2. Then deny it. Infact, they normally pretend like "what are you on about shocked"

3. They can even blame the weather for it.

All in all.....never trust them.

Lleigh, i just finished reading the river. Both stories are somhw interwoven. And from what i can deduce, its only Eliora that can help us unravel a whole lot. I hope Edward isnt one of the triplets since he was chosen by Baba especially with the mysteries surrounding their birth.....
Phew!!! I dont even understand what i'm typing sef...
Waiting patiently for you to unravel all mysteries.
Your descriptive ability is unrivaled aswear. I ve never seen a writer with such descriptive prowess. Thumbs up ma. You are doing a great job here......
Btw, more updates plsssssss.......

Started from the bottom now we here.
Queen of descriptions I've always called her.
Aint seen anyone badder than her.
So now you know why we all here care.
I hope you noticed the lyrics up there.
grin

Abeg don't mind me o. Lemme read before I drop something reasonable.
I wonder if I've been eating too much maize lately, I feel like my brain has been usurped by a logical coup d'etat of stupidity and nonsense.
Re: The Auction by Creeza(m): 1:34pm On Jul 22, 2017
jagugu88li:
You use the word surviving as if he actually did survive it. grin

I hope I am allowed to explain according to my understanding. The baby didn't really survive rather, I have always assumed he was either picked up from the shores of the river or they saw her throw him away. I am certain we've heard of stories where a dangerous snake doesn't bite a child, a lion doesn't too and even more wild animals just don't hurt a baby. I think the river decided on the same too. Lucen says Linda's act of throwing the baby lead to many mishaps...as opposed to Linda willingly giving away her baby or grown up boy for rituals.

He is now illustrating the events as if he understood what was going on. Mind you, hikayat qadima (forgot the english word but it can mean ancient stories) is, a child can sense evil spirit. So, even if he wasn't old enough to shout "uncle" or pray "mama help me", he was at a age where a spiritual eye is still sharp. Babies have that element. They hear and see all.

Madam author we are waiting. Adesina12.....coke please
Re: The Auction by Creeza(m): 1:37pm On Jul 22, 2017
I don't want to think I'm correct but here I am again, with my crazy thoughts

Babies, Baby, Toddler , small tata . smiley

Don't know if I got the line correct but here It goes " I tried to call on my mum to save me. But the words would not break free...."

And from your comment " he was at a age where spiritual eye is still sharp ..."

I don't know who his _uncle_ was so I won't dive there blindfolded by my instincts , but from lleigh's narrative , the baby looked more like linda's father when he was younger..."

In dramatica and many movies , when spiritual or supernatural beings takes control of the physical. Say maybe a human body or even when the " force of the supernatural " TENDs to " show a character " something that WOULD have been or HAS already occurred, the best way to go about this , is using something they are familiar with.

In our dear linda's case : Her father.

Another wonderful example is Barry allen ( the flash ) and the speedforce - oh! Dear I loved that series- and many others .

So my dear dominique and Jagugu88li. This is just my take as a writer- I'm not a storyteller yet, but someday, I will- and most times the goal is : to put the reader in a very twisting and....... Let me not spoil the mystery with my nonsense writeup, but be rest assured there is a or was a twist somewhere to sweep us off our feet nd probably we missed it.

Or the intentions was to drive us farther from the real picture and hold us in the question zone.

This said , the writer of the story knows better.

grin oya lleigh continue . Biko . I don't know what to write again before my brain explode.
This is mind blowing , honestly.

A lot of the things in this story are actually on this forum.

eROCK247 this week alone quite a few babies have been dumped days old and left to die.
A woman tried to sell her child for a bag of rice.
A houseboy being shackled in a cage with goats.
A woman has just married her dog.
There are loads of threads about girls and sugar daddies and the lengths they go to
A man got arrested having S£x with an animal..
A father sleeping with his daughter from the age of 8
Children being kidnapped for money rituals
A woman was paid £1,000 to sleep with a monkey.....
Dubai porta parties....it's all on here.
Human trafficking, it's horrible what happens. Children are kidnapped to order.
The list continues....

unfortunately it is the reality of the world we are living in at the moment.

But I appreciate you reading my work, I hope you are not offended.

I could never be offended even if I wanted to. You are a very skilled writer and going through your story I could actually see scenes you were painting. You left me hungry for the next episode. I just found myself another good writer on NL. I'd definitely pay for this story in hardcover.
Kudos ma'am

Nice story Ma'am Lleigh. Is this story some how connected to your other story "River" because how Linda's little boy was killed was also how the little boy in the River was killed for the same Ritual purpose.

More, well permit me to say Weird inspirations to you. Ride on
