I needed to ask this question because, some young men of these present time seek to impress people with an elaborate wedding without minding the consequences.

It's the women that insist on those lavish weddings because everything is a competition for almost all ladies.

They therefore want their wedding to be a societal one, the talk of the town. Madness if you ask me.

Left to most men, they would prefer small wedding inline with their capabilities, but most women will have none of that.
