The ibos started it. They insult those people and others who don't support them at every given opportunity. That trouble they have been looking for they will get it in full.

If igbos in the North won't relocate back, I think it's best they start arming themselves to fight back anyone that attack the unprovoked. Let them not be a sitting duck waiting to be slaughtered.

Asking them to arm themselves is foolish. You cannot hold out for long in a distant foreign land. They should return. Simple.

Never you try to divide the Yoruba race again! I am a Christian and I am cool with my Muslim brothers. Leave us alone, why try to divide us. Whatever happens on Oct 1st, yorubas dey kampe. Igbos should use this opportunity to leave Yoruba land too in order to develop alaigbo. Is there something else there? Why are you igbos scared of going home? I have never seen this kinda thing before haba!!!! Igbos go home!!!

Leave them to continue fooling themselves thinking Yorubas are hate filled like them.

Their YOLICOM didn't succeed, now they are confused.
Whether muslim, christians, pagans or traditionalists, Yorubas remain one. It's a free world with democracy

Don't worry about us but think about your brethren in the north as well. Out of fear, they have dissociated themselves from any call for oduduwa republic.

Let me see how the rampaging almajiris will differentiate Igbo's from Yoruba's when they start. I for one know that even the Yoruba Muslims flee for safety in the north when they start their riots.

Go figure.

And yes, Igbo's are not your mates in ritual killing, skull mining, incest and rape. You are masters in those fields.

We should all strive to develop our respective regions. Why move about aimlessly? Any Yoruba killed outside oodua land is fair game. Check my earlier post and stop quoting me.

So you really think majority of Nigerians like the igbos? Common! Don't lie to yourself and the generality of forumites we have online real time. Igbos deliberately boxed themselves into a corner over the years with hate speeches because they lost an unnecessary war which has nothing to do with this generation. I didn't grow up hating the igbos myself but it grew on me gradually till it fully crystallized in the Jonathan administration when Igbo's bared their fangs for the yoruba tribe(my tribe).

It is nothing personal, just a reciprocal gesture.
why do other nigerians hate the igbos?

We have been waiting. We will be waiting. 2 factors won the war for you guys in 1967, the Russian/British factor and the USA nonchalance due to their involvement in Vietnam. This is 2017 and there is a certain Trump and a Putin who both seem to Harbor the same hatred for Islamists and their penchant for bloodshed. We pray for a peaceful separation but if you arrogant pricks draw the first blood, then it will be a big big mistake..

Abi ooo. Very annoying set of people. We are all seeking ways to be rid of them but it seems they don't get the message. This one Nigeria has caused problem ooo. Only the elites are wining and dining. But the truth is Nigerians don't love themselves. It is all pretense. The igbos are however determined to instigate a genocide against themselves by their attitude. Gosh, it is annoying.

It's not foolish. At least if I arm myself (assuming I'm in the North) I will kill at least one or two people before I am finally felled. But a sitting duck is the foolish thing to do.
If the Arewas know that they may die the process of slaughtering the Igbos, they. may have a rethink before they attack.
And of course, there will be reprisal attacks in the east.

Igbos are very selfish people.. everyone knows

They go to other people's land to harvest riches but can't allow others do same in their lands.
They want to go and control others in their lands but can't allow others 1 inch near their political hemisphere in the East.

You want Biafra but don't want to leave Nigeria.. is that not genocide they're asking for.

A typical flat head yeaterner is greedy, foolish, dense, and myopic. The only language they understand is violence and bitterness

OPC should do and show them way out of Lagos and the entire SW.. I don't pity them one bit
so now the igbos are now Nigeria's most violent tribe?? where do the north (islamic extremism, Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram) rank in your scale?
what stops the Yoruba's and Hausa's going to the south south, north east to invest then?

It is the elites. Most Nigerians can still manage to live as one but igbos are taunting the dominant two tribes so they can be annihilated. The Igbos need to be confined to the east. I have no problem with any other tribe apart from the igbo. Sad things had to come to this. We would watch as the Igbo question unfolds.

-No sensible Igbo person live in all those Islamic states today. Not even 1 person, certainly not after the genocide of 1966 that took the lives of over Thirty-three thousand easterners, mainly Igbos & Efik people.

You forgot to warn IPOB miscreants and Nnamdi kanu that their name calling and hate will harm other Igbos outside Igboland
but common sense should tell you that it is wrong of anyone to harm d igbos resident in the north for the action of a man agitating down east. nothing justifies that! if they are angry with nk,they should make itopen n confront him.

We don't wanna go invest in the east. When I did my one year vocational course in the east, most of us Yorubas were scared to our pants as we crossed the niger bridge. The place looked dull, dingy and desolate. The soil was red, the people aggressive and it all just seemed out of place. We(yorubas) were always huddled together when we went outta the school compound because the people just seemed weird and knew we were Yoruba. On one occasion, an old man threatened to inflict harm on me just because, according to him, yorubas were responsible for their loss in the civil war. Can one just imagine that, what do I have to do with their loss in the civil war? I would not advice any Yoruba to invest or live in the east because the igbos themselves always want to escape the place so why should a foreigner go there?

The onus is on the igbos to stay put and develop the place. Maybe them other Nigerians will be willing to live and invest in the east.

I understand Yyeske's feelings now. When he was busy advocating for non-violence (and also tried to make those who say there won't be election in Anambra to have a rethink), thesame people insulted and called him all sorts of names, but today, what he talked aboouut is gradually unfolding .
I don't think he hates Igbos. He is only trying to taunt those who didn't see what he was warning against then.
Bless you bro, I've always warned those IPOB miscreants that the situation could get to this but I was called Afonja and aboki.
The hate hate has started coming back, I only hope nothing happens

hahahahaha. What happened to the spirit behind the founding of the NYSC scheme? It did not stop the second civil war from brewing.

Some people are quick to blame Nnamdi Kanu's utterances for this recent state of things. I disagree. While I disagree with Nnamdi Kanu's utterances it has nothing to do with the violent and bloodthirsty nature of the Northerners who use it as an excuse to satisfy their blood lust. While Oba Akiolu is known for much worse hate, genocidal speech against the Igbos we have never repaid the Yoruba people in kind who reside in any of the Eastern states of the country.

Since nothing seems to be put into place by way of stemming the tide of this impending tribal clash. It can only mean one thing - Nigeria is ripe for disintegration.
