I'm new here. Yay! I just joined today cos there are loads of stuff to gain and of course something to give back. I've been a visitor for some weeks now. I'm currently expecting a baby and 16 weeks gone.

I dunno if I'm allowed recommend something for mamas experiencing MS-Vitamin B6 and Unisom. I dealth with severe nausea n vomitting and when I say nothing worked I mean nothing! Not crackers,ginger, or whatever I saw listed here worked for me. VIT B6 and unisom combo works like magic. You can google it and read all about the required dosage. I take 50g vit B6 2ce daily and 1/2 unisom twice daily. As recommended by my doc. Make sure you use them together. If you can't drink water take it with whatever you can keep down. For me it was ICE. You will immediately feel better as you become able to eat something and drink more because what worsens MS is starvation,dehydration and stress. Hope this helps.

Your nose is blocked most likely ! Pregnancy gives me blocked nose at bed time and clears during the day. What I do is to apply Shea butter on my nose or just snoreand grunt away on days I don't remember and too lazy to get up and apply.

Try the Shea butter and see if you get relief.

Hubby keeps plotting on how to get her to go and visit other of her kids so that we can rest small.Yesterday she woke us with one loud banging on our door and said it's time for morning prayers. Half the songs she sang were composed by her on the spot and she yelled at us to sing along it was very tiring

Yes it's a sleeping tablet. The generic name is dioxylamine succinate 25mg. Half would be 12.5mg. There are other brands but the common one is unisom. Vit B6 alone doesn't work in severe cases of MS especially when vomitting. When used together with unisom it works. After a few days you will stop feeling the drowsy effect much. But in the first few days you will feel sleepy all day. Also lots of rest is very important.

Also if you can't drink water try taking Ice chips. I took that until I got better Sorry dear. Also avoid anything spicy. Eat lots of protein just pick one protein that you will like to eat. Chicken, meat, egg. You can boil chicken or grill it not fried and eat. Then you can fry like three eggs with small oil or butter with only small salt no other spice or ingredients. I didn't like beef. For two days i ate only chicken then i later eggs. Avoid carbs all those ogi and bland carbs doesn't work. Avoid processed carbs, even cracker made me feel worse.Protein is what your body needs most.

I couldn't keep my laughter down while she was shouting her shout. That one vex her more. I wasn't allowed to wear bum shorts or short gown during her omugwo stay ooo, na Mary Amaka she recommend. I just weak.
