The Truth Is Yet To Come Out Of Ozubulu Killings by Yoshy(op):
Wait, are we this dumb? Since when did drug fight turn innocent people into casualties?

From cultists to drug lords. Non, I repeat NON operates like this. What happened in Ozubulu can never be logically concluded to be drug fight, unless someone is trying so hard to hide something from us.

Drug dealers settle their beef by killing their offenders sometimes. This have always been done through hired assassination or juju (taking someone to a juju court). It has never been heard that drug dealers decided to mass execute bunch of Christians in a church that does not even have the target or the family members in it. In other to retaliate for wrong done to them.

What happened in Ozubulu, is not Igbo style of settling qualms.

This is an act of terrorism, and God forbid, if it's a jihad, cos I know not everyone is too gullible not to see that the police/government account of this issue is wrong and thwarted. People will ask questions, people will demand explanations and Ozubulu is the wrong choice of town for whomever orchestrated this act.

Why you shouldn't rule out the possibility of terrorism and Fulani militia attack?

It happened in Enugu, but the timing and mode of operation is the major factor. Whoever carried out the evil wanted to send a message to Igbos of what they are capable of doing. They know we will understand that it was never an act fueled by feud between drug dealers, but they can't outrightly own up because of the political implications.

RIP to the dead.

Enough of the politicising, let's call a spade, a spade.

Igbos don't sweep this under the carpet, get to the roots of it.
For the record I desperately hope it was a case of Gang feud cos I know if it's otherwise, the implications will not be good news for anybody considering the state of the country right now.

It happened in Enugu, where a whole community was almost wipped out. So do you in your right senses say Little babies, women and other innocent humans like you were murdered for drug fight that did not concern them? My friend, you are diabolical.
Re: The Truth Is Yet To Come Out Of Ozubulu Killings by Prec1ous(m): 6:37am On Aug 07, 2017
You asked not to politicise it and that is what you did all through the post.

Have you ever pushed drugs before to know how they settle scores? You had better go and read about the mafias and American drug lord, the even kill unborn children .

All I see is that the killers transferred the aggression on the innocent as they could not find their target.

Drug business is dirty and you dare not take a gram from another dealer without paying.

I don't like the government, but I am not dumb enough to know what they can do, if the government had a hand in this, it would have been massive.

Let's be sensible, Hoodlums and thieves have always wore soldier uniform to perpetrate evil. If it was really the soldiers, brother, there cannot be survivor at least on small scale.

Evil is bad, but use your sense and don't grow a fire you cannot quench.

Drug Lords have been known to massacre without pity from time immemorial.

This was especially popular in the USA in the 80's.

Miami, NY were known catacombs of drug warfare.

Your brothers may be late to this strategy but they are doing it with dexterity.

He obviously doesn't know how a drug cartel runs, with the most gruesome forms of murder their hit men and death dealers execute.

@OP, why don't you let your Ozubulu give his own side of the story first?

It has already happened.

Many years ago Nigerians often boasted that suicide bombers could never be found within.

E be like say na we carry first for that one now

Accompanying avarice is sometimes double-crossing and violence.

Pandora's box has been opened in Ozubulu.

To shut it would be quite a herculean task.

You are right.
The perpetrators do not have the emphaty and feelings of others. They have achieved their aims of stopping Bishop from laundaring his image and money. Bishop is now among the most crooked indigenes of Ozubulu from his high horse of respect.

The whole thing makes no sense. When you try to add up everything it even appears more dangerous. The time it happened. The Killings of the innocent. The haste with which the police concluded. The sympathy calls from different sources. Obiano's acceptance. The use of the drug line. This is complex.

The Nairaland story I read yesterday didn't say anything about a Priest talking. Nothing on that. It was simply a statement saying the police arrived at the conclusion that it was a drug spar to which I asked I how they arrived at such in just two hours. So tell me, or show me, where the priest made the story you claim he made. I need his quote in a link and not what somebody said the priest said.

Ohamadike, who spoke with a Daily Sun correspondent said;

"We were in the church and I was to handle the second reading. As the first reading was still on, I heard a sound like a thunder. I dived under a long form in the church auditorium and from there raised up my head a bit and saw a young man with a fez cap shooting and people ran in all directions for safety in confusion.

Is this the Parish Priest you speak of?

"Mr. Ohamadike Stephen, one of the survivors of Ozubulu Church attack carried out at St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra on Sunday morning, has narrated the horror they went through as GUNMEN stormed the church, even though he refused taking photos"

How is the Survivor Mr Ohamadike the Parish Priest?

Secondly, where did this survivor say that it was just one person who did the act?

Do you mind if I show what other survivors are saying?

What do you stand to gain by leaving part of the story:
"I remained where I was and that was around 5:45am. The Parish Priest removed his cassock and hid at the altar while the GUNMEN continued in the shooting spree."

“When they had left, I helped in evacuating the wounded and casualties to the NAUTH, Nnewi,” he said.

What do you stand to gain bro?

sorry I made mistake in the area of the parish priest but it doesn't erase the fact that a single perdon on face cap came inside to shoot people not that propaganda that ipob have been spreading around that the attackers were in army uniform and they came into the church in numbers

I don't think we should tie it to Biafra but what it really is, a crime to a people.

I also think that while suspicion is allowed, fingering or accusing anyone at this stage will not be helpful.

It will rather create the segregated mindset of us vs them and the seriousness it should generate is dwarfed by stupid and demonic utterances. Just leave anybody out of it.

As a person who tries to use his brain, the story doesn't add up. The loophole is just too large to take the words of the police or anyone as true at this stage.

Where are you getting this from? Didn't you read the entire quote you sent me? Look at what the Ohamadike guy you quoted said:

"I remained where I was and that was around 5:45am. The Parish Priest removed his cassock and hid at the altar while the GUNMEN continued in the shooting spree".

Where are you getting your version from? And why are we even arguing the numbers? Does it become less a crime if it was committed by one person?

""I dived under a long form in the church auditorium and from there raised up my head a bit and saw a young man with a fez cap shooting and people ran in all directions for safety in confusion.""

It does matter cos ipob have already painted the whole incident as hausa -Fulani jihadist army handwork.
According to them the attackers entered the church in numbers wearing army camouflage and their faced covered.
So the lies must be debunked before it escalate to reprisal attack on innocent Fulani's and the whole thing turn to Igbo vs Hausa riot
