As far back as 2009, Diamond bank was issuing credit cards to certain customers white white collar jobs. Bank workers, telecoms, oil and gas, logistics etc.

I know do do cause sold not less than 400 clients that year alone.

I use my Naira DEBIT MasterCard on Amazon very well so I don't think what you've written is true.

It doesn't screw everybody especially the rich. They usually file bankruptcy and the debts get wiped out from their records. Trump did it sometime too. It's we immigrants that get scared of credit card debts. One can even approach the lenders and negotiate how much to pay back, it's just that it hurts credit worthiness which is very important in the States.

Trump never filed for bankruptcy. His business filed for bankruptcy 4 times..

You are wrong on this. Presently i ve credit card i ve been using for more than a year now. its just that it is not common to see most Nigerian' using it. You could request for one from your bank if you meet the criteria, u will be issued one.

You have just demonstrated the thinking pattern of a typical consumer. So you go into debt with a bank because they offer to put you in a lounge and carry your luggage at the airport .
Do you think those kind of offers will sway Dangote for instance, if he had to make a decision on which card to acquire ?

They do, but you have to be credit worthy.

Also, If you have an asset worth some reasonable value, you can get a secure credit card.
