At this point, I'm will like to say how sorry I am about the way the final result would run. I wish with all my heart that things didn't go this way with Piroux. I really hoped she would get the same chance as others. But I guess, fate can like to play ludo with us sometimes. Piroux, I was going through the list today and I saw that you and Gmike2rule fought your way from being stolen to winning this competition. I tried to talk to the judges but unfortunately, my phone battery is also low. Right now, I'm sending this from a Cafe.And that means I can't get to them without whatsapp. My hands are really tied here.

Meanwhile, I want to really appreciate everyone that took part in this competition and the judges. I want to thank the competitiors for being lovers of literature. When we started the competition, there was no prize attached but you all were ready to compete.

Wow, Congrats guys. Skarlett, Missnande, Gmike2rule and Piroux.

Over twenty contestants began this grueling journey but only the four of you reached finals. Some might complain here and there about whatever but we all knew what we were getting into before the contest started.

I am most proud of Piroux and Missnande. Piroux, I had to let you go at some point and it really pained me at the time but you made it to the finals and I'm so glad. Your writing consistently improved as the contest went on and you deserve to be among the finalists.

Missnande, I stole you from another judge and it was probably the best steal I made. It's not luck that got you to the finals, it's your talent and good work.

I urge you all to keep writing and not let it end here with this contest. Nairaland and the world needs to read your stories.

Divepen1, thanks for this opportunity. I believe I did my part to the best of my ability and experience. It was really interesting while it lasted, (especially on the WhatsApp group. Hehehehe )

I apologize for the late reply. I was crazy busy. No, no, no, no, piroux, I'm not disappointed in you. You didn't let me down. I know it's just one of those things and I'm glad to know you didn't throw in the towel as I earlier thought. You should clap for yourself. You're among the top four. That should count for something. I believe out of all the contestants, you were the most consistent. To me, you never fell below par. It shows you really do know your onions and I hope you keep believing in yourself and soaring higher and higher in your writing career. I wish you well, dear.
