On Tuesday I weighed 70kg at the health center but on Wednesday the nurse that took my weight in private hospital said I weighed 75kg na so I shout ehnnn 5kg overnight, hmm issokia. Today I went to the market to buy some clothes for my Lo and after buying I sighted an aboki selling fried rice things, then I remembered that I've been craving for fried rice and salad, hmm na so I buy the things go house go prepare. As I was eating I was just reminding myself 5kg overnight oh remember you are watching your height oh(lol). But even with that thought I still ate a full plate of rice, drank plenty water and took my fruits afterwards. I just told myself the baby will understand . Biko mamas na only me Waka come for this kind overnight weight

im sure one of them didn't check the weight well and I'm gonna go with the health centre people Five kg overnight ke when you are not in fattening room

hi cappo,pls change the letter r in my name to small letter so that I can always get the team's mention. I noticed I haven't been getting it unless I read through the pages,only to find out that we have been called. sometimes its always late so I won't bother replying. Thank God for the journey so far. second trimester fully loaded,I'm an early bumper with this pregnancy, so everyone knows I'm pregnant. unlike the previous one that wasn't noticeable at 5months. My first antenatal is tomorrow. I'm so excited. I pray that the grace of God shall be sufficient for us all and everything concerning us shall be perfect.

Hello all, sharing this on behalf of my friend. Her LMP was on the 28th of July. Met with her husband for the first time o the 9th of August which she said was the peak of her ovulation. Her next period should start on Friday the 25th of August. Just two days ago she felt some cramps and so dark spotting and decided to go for a OR which came out positive. She also feels pain around her right lower abdomen. She had a scan today which showed no sign of pregnancy. Not even an ectopic. Her ovaries too are intact. But the pain is severe. My question is can an ectopic pregnancy show symptoms as early as 2 weeks in pregnancy. ? Could it be OUR though there is no discharge. She did a tvs and the problem gathered some brown slough from he uterus as well

Are you in Nigeria cuz i asked my hospital people to help dispose mine and they said they don't. My hubby was forming we can dispose of it ourselves only for him to later go and dump it in the thrash. I think hospitals should be responsible for it even if you have to sign a disclaimer

As a matter of fact I've never even discussed placenta with them. I guess it's normal for them except one specifically asks for it.

I decided to sing the above lyrics because that is exactly how I feel..Jesus has just been too too good to me

My pregnancy was uneventful, little MS that disappeared with time, by 15 weeks I was already feeling the baby movement and my bump came up very early....I battled with PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension ), by the time I was 32weeks gone I decided to come and have my baby in lagos then I registered in a private hospital and decided to try the general hospital as well, on the day I registered in the general hospital I was placed on admission immediatly because protein in urine was high as well as the high blood pressure, well I stayed and by the time I was 35weeks and 3 days an emergency cs was carried out on me...I went into the theater and came out victorious with my tiny little beautiful baby girl, I still don't know what she weighed because the whole staff in the theater were awed by her skin colour, my baby was the definition of pink and not a single patch of black was found on her...I had to sign to be discharged against doctors advice because the hospital still wanted to keep me after 5 days of the cs, I told the doctor I can't cope alone with the baby, I needed help and the nurses are not ready to lift a finger in helping...so we got home on the 6th day after the cs and baby was named Adanne Chizara'm Mitchell...

All glory to God for fulfilling his words in my life, this was my second pregnancy after 5 yrs. .God is still on the thome all we need to do is call on him and he will be riright there to answer..

My B. S part 1

Let me start by saying all praises and aduration belong to almighty Allah for making me become a mother.
My edd according to scan was 20th of August and 23rd according to LMP, 20th came and there was no sign at all fast forward to 23rd of August i woke up and start cleaning the house that i have cleaned before, i washed clothes, in the afternoon i saw very small brownish mucus and contractions started coming but it wasn't that strong. When dh got back from work i told him my contractions is becoming regular but not really strong, he said oya lets take a walk, that was how we set out but on the way the contractions became very painful and started coming like 3-5mins apart, we got to the bus stop and climbed the bridge, sat at the bustop there then i started contracting seriously he said we should start going to the hospital from there i said no that since the following day is my antenatal i will get checked but when we got home i couldn't eat nor sleep, i just told him to boil water for me and i took my bath while dressing up the pain was hitting me hard i had to go on my knees that was how this man went on his knees too i just told him are you not suppose to be my strenght.

B. S Continuation

We got to the hospital some minutes to 9pm and i was told to go to the labour ward for checking on getting there i was 0cm but the contractions were hitting me hard i couldn't sleep, the following morning 24th of August around 5a.m i was checked again was at 1cm when the nurse told me i shouted since she used her hand to stir and stir and said she has gotten me to 2cm i said ok, when she was about to leave around past 7am she checked again and was looking worried i asked her what is it, she said i was just 3cm and i should have gone past that based on the intensity of the contractions but i wasn't dilating well. She left me there and i was just kept saying Ya Allah and rubbing my back and lower stomach anytime i got hit. When it was 10.10 a. M another doctor came to check but he didn't tell me how far gone i waa he just told the nurse to set that winchy winchy drip for me, i asked the nurse how far i was she said 4cm, she did edema for me,told me to eat that after setting d drip i won't be allowed to eat until it finishesbut i couldn't eat and the drip was set around 10.30 a.m and the drama began, chai i shouted the hospital down but all i was saying was ya Allah pls dont make me suffer (oh Allah pls don't make me suffer) and i kept rubbing my back and stomach cos the pain was out of this world, later around 11.30 i told the nurse something is pushing me and she said it was a lie that its too early for that i told her to come and check me she said she is coming but didn't come o, i started shouthing again and the matron said i should stop shouting and be breathing in and out for where nah with this pain i said i want to poo the matron said its not yet time to poo jor i said i will poo by force reluctantly she came to check me and shouted the nurse name that her patient is fully dilated they now started running and told me to hold on a bit. Time to push another drama she bursted my water and told me to Push at the next contraction, i was just breathing the matrn said look at your baby head dont let him swallow dirt o i was pushing but poo was d only thing coming out i kept trying after hearing my baby head has been seen, the nurse kept encouraging me that i can do it and at the next contraction i pushed and my baby came out at exactly 11.48 a.m screaming and weighed 2.7kg with cord around his neck, i felt so so relieved and was aaked the sex of my baby before taking him away for clean up. The nurse delivered the placenta and i aaked if i had tear she checked and said small called the doctor to come and stitch me i was given an injection to numb the place and was stiched like 6 stiches and she said it was small.
