Things poor people say to console themselves.

Just like comparing Toyota and Roll Rolls Royce

Stop calling people poor thinking you have arrived. Dude, even Warren Buffet still lives in a his old house he bought in the 80s.

When you look at your life, always remember you are poor in someone's eyes too... so be humble.

I dislike people who use the word "poor" to classify others.

THIS YOUR REQUEST REPRESENTS THE EXACT REASON THAT WE HAVE SO MUCH SUBSTANDARD PHONES IN THE MARKET

No, it's not. I don't think there's something big or highly qualitative in those specifications I mentioned.

Guys, please what good phone can I buy for 30k or less? At least 8MP Camera. Battery not lower than 3000MAH, RAM not less than 2gb. Not lower than Android 5.0. 4GLTE. 16gb internal memory. An external memory slot expandable to 120gb. Thanks.

You cannot get a good phone with those specs at that price.
The least is a Xiaomi Redmi 4A at 38K

Samsung phones are over priced, apple too. Xiaomi for me is best value for money, so i will keep buying xiaomi over and over again

Many people dont know this. Their low end phones are crap, battery life generally poor, their high end phones are too costly and mostly bad Iphone imitations. I dont know how they jazzed the market to accept them. Apple phones are for people who have money to throw away. The best non-western phone out of China is Xiaomi by a long shot. My next phone is going to be Xiaomi.

...and will you choose xiaomi or other mainstream brands like samsung, blackberry, apple, et.c if you have to buy again?
which one be mainstream? Phone na phone bros. The same thing you call mainstream is manufactured and assembled in China.

Okay. The market has gone mad now. Could you help with the features of the Redmi besides the ones I mentioned?

How much is iphone? With 60-70k I can get iphone 6+ 64GB?

I have one sleeping in luggage.

Most of you just do things to feel among, to "show" you have some money.

The same phone you regard so highly is manufactured and assembled in China.

you are wrong, cos Samsung and Apple are truly overpriced.

I guess you are amongst the lots that buy things only because of brand name. I am not saying that Samsung and Apple are not brands with good product, but fact is that their phones are overpriced.

High price does not always transmits best quality. OnePlus, Meizu, Xiaomi et al are Chinese brands that make devices as equivalent as Samsung and Apple and can give them run for quality and best price.

An American recently gave a full review and comparison of his iPhone 6 Plus that he bought for about 200k with the new midrange Nokia 5 that he recently bought for about 60k and he ended up confirming that IPhone was truly overpriced as his new Nokia 5 gave him almost everything he needed that his IPhone 6 Plus gave him.

In fact he even mentioned that there are somethings he achieved with his Nokia 5 that he couldn't do with his IPhone.

At the end he came to the conclusion that he will be going more for phones that cost less and of quality than IPhone that is pricey with quality.

You probably don't know that Samsung and Apple are just enjoying brand leverage, that's why their phones are pricey but people still buy them.

Just the way LG home appliances these days are almost costing higher than many other brands. And I don't see LG as the best in home appliances

don't mind those guys bro. They are just time wasters who think they are. "Rich" because they use Samsung or iphone.

What is the basis of a phone apart from communication? Other features are just added to remove more money from their pocket.

Add to the fact that all those phones are made in China... yes, apple, samsung are made in China. If they were learned, they would be questioning why the difference in quality?

There is a phone that is virtually unknown in Nigeria, the OnePlus. I have been using it since the first version came out in 2014. The current version is called one plus 5, it has mad specs: 8 gigabytes RAM with 128 gigabytes memory & Android Nougat (YES! Samsung S8+ has just 4 gig and 64 gig memory). Check out their phones on oneplus.net or view reviews on YouTube.

Say No to substandard phones

When they say the phone has 8MP camera, let it be 8MP not 4MP

When they say the battery is 2400mAh, let it be 24mAh.

My LG phone with 2000mAh battery lasts than my Tecno phone with 2400mAh...

LG 5MP camera clear pass Tecno 8MP camera.

You can't trust all this chinese inferior product. Xiaomi excluded and some other brands.

Say No to Tecno, Infinix, Gionee, Kimfly etc.

Yea but you might be getting it a bit wrong when it comes to battery capacity. Your LG with 2000mAh most probably lasted more than your Tecno with 2400mAh not because your Tecno 2400mAh is not what it is, but because of the processor types. Your LG might be Qualcomm while your tecno is most likely MTK.. These processors also play important roles on your battery duration. You can't compare a Qualcomm chipset that optimises performance thereby leading to low battery usage than an MTK chipset that doesn't do same

Perhaps you don't have "dislike" with his choice of word when he called iPhone overrated. He only went for a cheaper phone he could afford which doesnt make a much better phone worthless either.

Life is a choice, so stick with what you can afford and stop bad-mouthing what you can't afford.

Samsung phones are overpriced but Apple products are worth every cent of it. And yes, Xiaomi products are great value for money.
You don't know what you're saying
IPhone is more overpriced compared to Samsung
You can google their production cost and selling price.
