I once saw two sisters aged 12 and 8 crying on their way home with blood dripping from their privates when I asked they said they were raped by their uncle saddest part was that the man went unpunished

Sorry bro, really sorry, ..however if true;
1. Are u an atheist?
2. If 1 is +ve, did that gory event turn you into an atheist?

Talking about some death occuring and u ask if God exists.
I shared flat with a friend in my early days as a banker in warri. He was also my colleague. We had fun togeda. Chics, alcohol and all dat. But one tyn about this guy was his 'tithe'. Ds guy never for one month missed his tithe and he was doing 20% of his salary- not 10. Some months after paying borrowed money, he cud be left with 60k. Ds guy would still still pay 40k to church. I was always in desbelief anytym he did dat. However, this guy got married and his wife died while giving birth 11 months after marriage. its over 6 years now, i still wonder.... I really wonder.

Mine was watching a child fall from the 3rd floor of a building. I was talking with some friends while the boy was in the 3rd floor of his parents playing then somehow, he fell off from such a huge distance. I watched in disbelief as people quickly rushed to the scene and had the child taken to the hospital immediately. Luckily the child survived.

Second was a beggar who lived on my street. He was starving and had no option but to beg for help. Each day going to work, I gave him what I could afford. Traveled for some weeks and I saw him down to just a bag of bones. Next day he was already dead. For about a week his body was still there and no one cared.

one of my scariest was when I almost had a head on collision with a tanker while traveling. Within a fraction of a second of colliding we somehow veered to the other side of the road. Worst still I was at the drivers seat where the damage would have been worse. Honestly I was seconds away from death..

Last on my most traumatic was witnessing a murder scene. I don't even want to talk about it..
Only you? Everything includes death sef, hian. Sorry dear, you'll be fine or may be you're already fine sef. But prevention is better than cure, let me protect myself b4 i hear story, i cannor come and die like d murder victim
Joking sweetie

This thread literally left me in tears praying and thanking God for my family and how he's kept us thus far. My mum refers to him (in igbo) as onye nche anyi. I pray that these afflictions will never rise a second time. I pray his healing hands come upon everyone that has shared these stories. I pray he comforts us and our families and in all things that God will be for us Romans 8:31.

I have read every single comment on this thread. Read how people miss their moms and dads, well my both parents are alive but my mom has been sick for the past two years. She has this pain in her right leg, we thought it was rheumatism but it wasn't, she was told to shed weight which she did. Stop eating this and that, stop doing that and those, be exercising all of which she has been strictly adhering to until it seems the story is the same. Three weeks ago i wanted to leave home as well as my younger brother too, she came into our room with tears in hear eyes and told me to give up the idea of running a business cos it is risky as my father is a failed businessman and she has borne the weight of breadwinning. She said the sickness with her was not getting any better and if she dies she wants my younger to finish schooling and not suffer as well as myself not to beg people to survive. At this point i couldn't hold my tears cos i have never thought of not having a mother and all she has been doing suddenly flashed before me. She was crying and talking and i wished i could command the sickness out of her but i couldn't rather i broke down in tears, first time in over ten years i would cry and it became a weeping frenzy as my younger brother joined in.

I still spoke with her yesterday, i dont want her dead, i have fasted and i pray for her i just want her hale and hearty again. She has been a strong woman. Thinking of loosing her creeps me out and gives me goosebumps. They are scariest moments.

When I went for a wedding in July - 7/7/2017,. We were three on the bike, the bikeman was speeding, we should have dropped, but we didn't, from nowhere, another bike wanted to enter the main road from the left, the bikeman swerved to the right, but it wasn't balanced, I put my left foot on the ground, the road dragged my fully body and I was dragged on the main road for some seconds, my left elbow, hand and left leg pilled so much, because I landed with the left part of my body.

The bikeman parked successfully in front of me and they came to pick me from the floor, it was a scary event, I knew at that instant that life is very fragile.

I got up and the first thing I asked was 'where is my wristwatch' ? angry

Not my fault, I treasure the wristwatch. grin £189 wristwatch is a big deal to me at this stage.

I was rushed to a pharmacy beside the road, was treated and given anti-tetanus injection.
next time do not try to put your leg on the ground to help in balancing the bike!
_
doing so can coat everybody their lives
_
leave the balancing to the bike man!

I learnt that the hard way and I've saved myself from deaths by staying calmly on bikes when it seems the bike man is loosing controls

Hope you don't mind me asking but has your mum presented to a teaching hospital in Nigeria, I am a medical student and believe you me most of the consultants in these teaching hospitals handle the most difficult of cases. I pray the Divine Merciful Jesus comes through for your mum.

Please open a thread on this in the health section. Also consider taking your mom to a teaching hospital or government orthopaedic hospital. Several things can cause pain and there are tests to detect them using special equipments which can be found mainly in the aforementioned places at relatively affordable prices.
May your mom be healed.

Thanks.

Yes, Im atheist.

I was non-religious then. I remember pointing to the sky and cursing God in frustration.

Years later, I became a regular and active member of RCCG, - worker, house fellowship teacher and head of the media department.

Atheism came much later. That's a story for another day. These days, I swing between atheism and pantheism. You may call me confused - you wont be too far off.

Thanks for the advice and concern. She has done all of these. She has been to the Diagnostic centre in Ondo for tests which it's results all came out negative to any sickness, she has been to Federal Medical Centre, Owo and its the same story. Recently she saw a radiologist for x-ray if it were a bone problem but it isn't. It isnt stroke either. She will pay any amount to get good medication and she has been doing so ever since from the best she knows and referred to but to no avail. We are almost getting clueless about the issue. I say Amen to your prayers for her. Thanks once again.

have had different experience too,the once that got me scared, the near death one,the spiritual one.let see what i can pen down.
When i was about 5 years old in skull i remember a classmate of mine while we were playing she told me she can make anything disappear she put #5 in a text book & ask me to open it which i did, well the money was still there so i told her she cant make anything disappear but i can, when i told her i can i did'nt mean it i knew i was lying but to my greatest surprise i put #5 into the book saying some incantation i heard 4rm some nigerian movie den and after then open the book turned it upside down & we saw nothing...i made d same words again and d money appeared.till today i still wonder abt dat scene but i later understand that i was either iniciated or almost iniciated into witchcraft by another girl in my class bcause of strange dreams which i do have then but God delivered me.i had an accident on a bike once that got me traumatise 4 quite a tym.

FMC is reliable. it is a medical residency training hospital but even at that if they have tried for so long and the condition seems to be deteriorating, I'll suggest if it's not too much trouble to take her to another teaching hospital, say LUTH or UCH for instance, these hospitals sometimes have cases referred from other teaching hospitals across Nigeria. #God'sspeed

i have being faced with rape attempt at different times, there is the one i pretend to accept the man by telling him he should at least kiss me,i felt i didn't have a wayout i had screamed, finally i had to give that pretense,he agreed to d kiss and i held tightly to his lips with my teeth as if my life depends on it. am sure i would have cut off his lips if had not been hit, d idiot scramble away.i have escape rape alot, some will be sympathetic since am not coperating and leave me alone,on 2 scenario my teeth as being a gud weapon.d oda is when my husband awoke 4rm a strange dream and after we prayed we started hearing strange sound around 2:am as if someone was pounding in d opposite house ..funny enough it has being continous,it stop some tym if we pray & begin again.Alot of thing are happing in this life but as children of God we ought not be afraid.let me jst stop here.
