@Ladyguinevere
Do you think it is rite to use travel history as a yardstick for Visa to be granted ?
Because every1 will have to travel the 1st time at a point

2ndly I have travelled to the UK b4 when I was a kid with my mum many years ago, can I use this when asked as a travel history during my interview ?

Travel history is an advantage, surely. But this yours, isn't it obviously way older than "in the past five years"? However, it counts something at the least, minute weight though methinks

I guess you are here for advise. If you will like to study abroad, look for a study thread. The word "leave Nigeria" sounds like an immigration intent but this thread is for intending visitors.
IMO, take the advise to invest your money before you lose substantial part of it while searching for visa. The brain and grace that gather £10,000 for you as a student shall not leave you.

Don't put yourself in a spot, just be confident when answering your questions & maintain eye contact with the interviewer, you should be fine.

1. Be honest in your forms, you can fill it yourself without any agent.
2. Be bold, confident, look at the eye of the VO when answering. Give detailed answers, give answers till you are asked the next question or if you are done answering.
3. Is this you, your wife's first time of applying?
4. Is your wife pregnant?
5. From what you have written, your ties are okay.

Hello house,

I applied for visiting visa with my husband in 2015 but we were denied. I actually wanted to go and give birth wc I made my intention known.

The VO asked how long I have known my husband wc I answered 8yrs and he said in the last 3yrs I have travelled 5times why didn't we go together

I told him we were not married and there was no reason for us to travel together cos we got married in 2014.

Eventually we were denied.

2016 I travelled with my LO to UK but my husband didn't go with us due to his biz. We are planning to reapply again as a family now,I hope the fact that we didn't travel together in 2016 won't be an issue.

My husband is a biz man and I work with salary of 270k.

I think what did you in was "WHEN DID YOU START YOUR BUSINESS" you should have stated in years & not "IMMEDIATELY I CAME BACK FROM CANADA" the vo might have thought you were be pushy with your travel experience & also if you didn't own the business, you should have corrected the "YOUR BUSINESS" statement.

Just my thought
