Am a Catholic from birth, I have these question in mind but haven't gotten an answer..
Here is the question:
Please what is the work of the Reverend sisters in the Catholic church because i know They don't celebrate Mass on sunday..
please any Catholic with an answer should clarify me.. Thanks!!!!

Many things. Some help out in schools,orphanages, old people's home, the poor etc depending on the congregation you are into.

From the little I understand, the Reverend Sisters assist in terms of hospitals, educational & religious duties like visiting the prisoners. Also some of them also assist the Priest in the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

There are instances where the bad eggs among them service the priest or even bishops, after all body no be firewood. I will think when a girl already enjoyed anaconda before she went to convent, it will be nearly impossible not to think of having it again.

Hmm! This reminds me of a Lesbian lady that came to my church back in the day to speak to the youth about her story. She said at some point when her parents found out she was a lesbian, they sent her to a convent, and she said the Reverend sister they handed her over to was actually a lesbian too, and they became lovers. The lady's story was so interesting...it got me inspired to write series of books on Lesbians. Truth is stranger than fiction for real.

It's a vocation provided for the women who want to dedicate their lives in the service of God. The Catholic church does not provide room for women in the leadership of the church (meaning that women cannot be priests or deacons or bishops etc) but through this vocation, women who wants to live a life of service to God can be recognized.

Their duties ranges from humanitarian to evangelism (they run motherless homes, home of the elderly, visitation of the sick and any other service they are permitted to render). But basically, they choose to be single in order to live a life of service to God
