Your daughter is possibly got an infection of the gut usually caused by a virus or bacteria.

Is your daughter only vomiting? And no loose bowel movements?
Persistent vomiting can sometimes cause your child to become severely dehydrated. This might also be a sign of gastroenteritis.

If your daughter keeps vomiting, a hospital admission might be required for IV infusion (to keep your child hydrated)......

Without physical observing/examining your daughter, it would be very difficult for me to put a finger on the cause. Just keep monitoring her temperature (hope you have a thermometer)? I would suggest you observe till the morning. If she keeps vomiting and is looking physically drained. Take her to your nearest hospital......
thank you so much doctor. I appreciate. Yes she is only vomiting, no loose bowel movement. The vomiting is when she takes in food though it has subsided a bit. Through out last night she didn't vomit but took only little food though she sucked my breast like three times at night n didn't vomit till this moment. She is still asleep

As for the temperature she isn't running temperature at all. She was checked yesterday n d nurse said she is warm. I don't have a thermometer at home o but physically her temperature is normal.

God continue to bless u. I will keep monitoring her. Thanks
Good morning

What type of diabetes does she have? Is her diabetes under control? Does she regularly have hypo episodes?
Is she prescribed any sleeping tablets? Has she complained to her Dr about her sleeping patterns?
Her Dr needs to review her and course the best way to handle her condition

Good questions Doc, unfortunately I don't have answers to most. She just came on a visit and I noticed symptoms of Diabetes and with the drugs she's taking also. Now, how do I start with her diagnosis? What I got from her is that she goes for sugar-level check and bp test

You start by asking the listed questions. If possible, speak to her diabetes Dr/Nurse..........

Good morning all, this is somewhat urgent. I have a friend who has some medical issues. Her menstruation is usually very painful, takes about 5 days. She has clot whitish discharge which she says flows very well. It's thick. Her lower abdomen hurts and she was recently treated for PID. After taking some drugs which name I can't lay my hands on currently, the pain during mensuration reduced but it returned again. There was a time she was rushed to the hospital because of frequent stomach ache. That was when she was treated for PID and STI. She is experiencing lower abdominal pain when she pees and sex is now painful. Please who can help out here? It's urgent please. She was told to do culture test but doctors are currently on strike. What's the way forward please? Any professional would do. Thanks in advance. Cc lexusgs430

Has she performed a urinalysis? The weather ahead is clear, assuming she was put on the right course of antibiotics.
Stormyweather ahead, if her sex partner does not also go test himself, to rule out any transfered infection......

lol. Seen. What's the way forward now? She was relieved for a second but it got bad again especially the discharge. She said her partner did say treatment when she was doing it. I just want a way forward right now.

Try buy a test kit and perform test..... It's an easy to conduct.
Buy strip, dip in fresh urine (stand strip in urine for 20 seconds), check for colour changes and compare with default.....
If any signs of infection are seen, a, urine culture test would also be required.....

Was his result positive? She needs to be on the right course of medical treatment. It's possible the infection she is harboring is now taken a different turn (due to late treatment)...

The only medical solution is to perform all the right culture tests, and right path of treatment commenced.....

I know much about her but unfortunately little about him. I'm sure you know why grin. So right now, we can't give her any medications for temporary relief. The pain that's in her lower abdomen is not so painful when she pees, it's just a feeling. But during her period it's hell. What pain reliever will you advise? She uses ibufen but that takes time to start working and sometimes it doesn't

Naproxen or Codeine does help period pains, but could cause constipation (faecal impaction).........

Not so much complication, if she eats vegetables or eats fibre diet or takes laxatives, it would not cause any stool blockage........
