monistick:Does WES now send electronic reports? That's a good one. There's nothing wrong in whether the report is electronic or hard copy. Is it a problem? WES is trusted and reliable over there and they deal with many Schools there. |

creabyn:I think she decided when she said its a program you can study online. You should be more convincing on why your physical presence is mostly needed. |

creabyn:You probably met a VO who familiar with Nutrition field and It doesn't help that this particular school has this Our program is offered both 100 percent online or through a combination of online and classroom courses on our campuses in Denton and Houston. https://twu.edu/nutrition-food-sciences/graduate-programs/ms-in-nutrition/ The VO did ask a valid question especially since the school has an online program and your response did not answer the specific question since the school does have an online program . Don't really have much feedback , maybe if you had stronger reasons on the value of Classroom compared to Online especially Internship / hands on opportunities or maybe how you are a person who learns better in a classroom when you interact and work closely with others . Or that the internet is Slow/ rubbish for accessing course materials (maybe if you live outside the big cities ) |

creabyn:Sorry man. But you really tried. What's the total fee on your I-20? Isn't it possible to change your major because Nigeria is not advanced yet for Nutrition Science. |

creabyn:Mine is also 31k plus in dollars, please may I ask how you intend to pay for this when you get to the US or u have substantial amount to back u up while over there. I hope you understand me. |
| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by ormorteey: 12:11pm On Oct 18, 2017 |
creabyn:You did well. You obviously practiced and gave reasonable justifications except for the one important question . This is just a case of choosing the wrong program. VOs check you against section 214b, once your intent is unclear, then you get the reject paper. Since most schools are able to offer their nutritional science program completely online, you really don't have any cogent reason to be physically present in the US. Perhaps, you would have made a genuine case for research activities. Using a particular research lab as the motivation for applying and how hands-on experience is all you need. Also, if I were to be in your shoes, I would find a school with the same program and strong research labs. If you decide to change your major only, then you should be ready to justify why you chose to change your major. They've got your application history. |

Hello my people Please I am stuck on the Wes website and I need an urgent help...I am at that point where I have to fill recipients and I got a 249usd fee after I added just a school as the recipient.. In the past, I have read from many people claiming that a 212usd fee came up after they filled the recipient. Please I want to pay the 212usd fee too..how do I have it reduced to 212usd? I tried removing myself as recipient but it was looking impossible.. What do I do please? Bigfrancis21 and all |

Well, you can do that money order too. However, the best and fastest is the Western Union Quick pay option. Anybody with a valid ID in the USA can walk into the Western Union store and pay it for you. Cheers!!! Sanctus1: |

LagosismyHome:Very much on point response. Poster should study the points here, develop it and re-fire. You may even meet another VO that is not familiar with this like the earlier one. Good luck |
| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by Nobody: 1:55pm On Oct 18, 2017 |
creabyn:How do you intend to pay this money? The gospel truth is you will struggle to get your visa unless you come up with some cogent reasons on why you want to study this major and how it would be beneficial to you and your home country. |

Shakitibob0:You don't need to make yourself a recipient because they will upload a copy of your transcript online for you to view so you do NOT necessarily need a hard copy anyway. Go to your account profile and edit your mailing address to that of the school you wish WES to send your transcript to upon completion, no need for extra recipient except you are applying to more than one school that also needs WES evaluation. That brings your total payment down to $212. You should be able to remove the extra recipient (to yourself). |

nevicochidinma:Use N365 or N370 to be on the safe side. Most of these schools have a currency exchange website that they go to to convert foreign figures to their US equivalent and these websites use the black market exchange rate (which regular banks in Nigeria also use), rather than the official CBN exchange rate (the rate at which Nigerian banks buy dollars from CBN). |
