There could be two sides to this coin.
For those whose application portal is closed, it could mean that they have been shortlisted for the next stage and there would be no need to have anything to do with the portal because their profiles have been reviewed, soon they will get email invite. Or it could mean they were not successful.
Also the second side could be that those whose portal is still opened are through to the next stage and have been giving another opportunity to upload and reupload the necessary documents and then a period will come they will not be able to upload any document and they get an email invite.

But the only thing is ' DPR can not be shortlisting people for interview and still give you access to edit your profile and upload document without informing people through email" Also you can't liken the "Application portal is close" to the first stage of recruitment. Those who had their applications rejected or withdrawn occurred after the aptitude test had been concluded and they got email to that effect immdiately. But in this case, nobody has been invited yet through SMS or email or interview concluded already. So there is still a ray of hope for the two sides of the coin.

Even if your portal is still accessible, there is no way it will show APPLICATION COMPLETED after editing as it is showing on your dashboard right now. Probably you stored the screenshot on your phone or system after the registration last year. We must unravel the truth behind this brouhaha. I am waiting. Somebody said anybody that says he/she is still accessing the site is only lying and should not be taken seriously.

I think we should check dpr's website there is a disclaimer as to this confusion. Let's wait and be hopeful.

. Ok Sir, but it is equally a wrong assertion on your part that everybody that applied for this job is unemployed/GT. Some of us applied as EH with Masters degree plus over 8yrs work experience. There is always a room for career growth, without disputing the fact that there will always be frictional unemployment . Be that as it may however, it is not an exclusive reserve for anyone to make observations on this thread, while anything on the contrary is attributed to unemployment pressure. My curiosity still hinges on the fact that his profile is still showing APPLICATION COMPLETED which is strange at this point. Some us also edited our profiles and saved. BYE.

Some people did not even write the test but are saying they can still login. Some that were having "pending successful submission before the test are still claiming they can still access the site just to put FEAR in the minds of many that wrote the test. We know many of them here. Beware of them

If I'm not mistaken, that 'APPLICATION COMPLETED' has been showing at the top of everyone's profile ever since we finished registration on the site last year... That's been been my observation though.

And sorry if I sounded insensitive about the unemployment thingy... I just didn't want to be verbose in my write-up there... Whatever the reason for applying to DPR, be it unemployment, underemployment, career growth etc... It still shows the dire nature of the labour market for Nigerian graduates.

If this case is real then I conclude their server(DPR) is either undergoing maintenance or is having issues.

I am an ardent follower of this thread. I read from it almost everyday. As a matter of fact, I spent the last 2hrs+ catching up.
Well, APPLICATION COMPLETED has been showing since last year or thereabouts and I have been seeing APPROVED on my profile since the run up to the examination.
I am very sorry I will not screengrab my profile page though I edited two (2) of my REFEREES and included RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE last night, I have had unhindered access to my profile.
I have not received any invite for the next stage as at 17:00HRS, Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Do not overwork yourselves, at the right time, we will hear from DPR.

You guys will not have High blood pressure. Just relax DPR is done with that portal. I wonder why some are still opening. Anyway, Interview invites will start rolling soon and its going to be an email thing. Successful hires will receive their Apt letters in January 2018 and resumption/induction will be in Feb/March 2018. Best of luck guys and remember its not by intelligence nor connection but by God's mercy and grace!!!!

Latest info: if your portal is still opening it means that DPR has not processed ur details yet. Chances of been called for interview may be slim. Later.
