well since they didnt learn from the past they should get the treatment again or atleast for 3 away games

medjai:

I wonder why NFF will reverse NPL's decision to banish Pillars to Calabar. Why will NFF order Pillars to move to Abuja instead of Calabar? The idea behind banishing a team is for it to play without its fans support. Is moving Pillars to Abuja a blessing or punishment considering the distance between Abuja and Kano. I think Pillars officials have bribed the NFF.

Banishment comes with conditions, if they pay tehir fines on time and appeal i think you can have it reduce and banishing a team all the way to the other side of the country is not really sensible apart from playing away from your fans there are other risks involve Nigerians roads are not exactly safe for travelling coupled with logistic issues

Re: Nigerian League Fan Thread: Enter D Place N Know Every by medjai(m): 6:52pm On Jun 06, 2010
^^^ i was equally surprised when i saw an away win. I cant remember the last time there was an away win in the league. But you know Zamfara are a 'wayo' team. I wont be surprised if they fixed it again
Re: Nigerian League Fan Thread: Enter D Place N Know Every by Embele: 7:27pm On Jun 06, 2010
That "away" win means nothing since it was in Calabar. Bees were banished so it was a road game for them too.
Any word on the promotion race and scores from Crown-First Bank and Akwa-Insurance?

Ahmed Musa is now the all time highest goal scorer in the Nigerian league with 18 goals surpassing Ishaya Jatau and Okorondot's record of 17 goals
Re: Nigerian League Fan Thread: Enter D Place N Know Every by DisGuy: 12:25pm On Jun 07, 2010

ARE U SURE?

if the score line is only 1-0, then he has only equalled teh record

Current highest goal scorer in the Nigeria Premier League, Kano Pillars Ahmed Musa has told the official NPL website that he is confident of breaking the goals record set by Ishaya Jatau and Akarandut Orok in spite of the club's banishment to Calabar for the rest of the season. Musa noted that he needs just two goals to be able to break that record and write his name in gold

if you check very well, there has been time away teams won away from home this season, check out Kwara utd, Pillars and Enyimba, even Kaduna utd have been winning outside their states, add Sharks, Dolphins to that too so it's not new per say.

I think he has only scored 17 goals and not 18.

How possible for Anambra to beat officials outside their own domain? i mean how can an away team beat the officials in a turf that's not theirs?

so wen is the Pro league supposed to finish? they "delay til world cup" then have four teams in the challenge cup, they will be playing until August.
And they still have the catchup games for Nasarawa? Someone get the NFF a calendar

They don't need a calender, what they need is to new brain.
