This my assessor, whose favourite cliché has always been "At the same time, being developed as an engineering associate, you have a great exposure to technical coordination as well as a grounding in the area of civil technology and technical support. Based on these carrier episodes’ summary you may be assessed with the qualification outcome as a Civil Engineering Technologist (ANZCO 233914)"has now gone numb since I asked to be assessed as an engineering associate proper which equals draftperson.
My patience deh run thin ooh. . It been 10 working days now, the guy usually replied me within 24-48hours before.
Any advice people?

Thanks chairman.

Rett0:

No need to assess work experience.
Records is needed for tax...RSA Pension can be used too.
You'll need another letter from HR stating exact dates and other required details for dibp to claim points

No please. You need your Skills Assessment to fill up your EOI. You would be requested to fill in your Skills Assessment Reference Number whilst filling your EOI. So I reckon you concentrate on your Skills Assessment and english test (if not already sorted).

You do not need to contact anybody. Open a savings account with GTbank and then make payment with your Mastercard atm card plus token, simples. I paid for mine last week Saturday.

You do stand a chance. You should be getting about 10points for your experience and 15for your degree. You should hit 65points if you get 20points in IELTS. Generally you'd go as far as your determination can take you. My advise is get all your employment documentation together. All the best.

I appreciate boss. Many thanks.
Let the hustle begin

Welcome onboard. Your friend in Oz is not correct, as a lot of persons on this thread obtained PR grants while fully resident in Nigeria and holding nigerian Bsc/Msc Certificates.
The first step is to check through the SOL/CSOL list to nominate an occupation based on your qualification(s) and/or work experience. Feel free to ask questions here.

Notarised softcopy because it was photocopy that I got.

Ok. Thanks.

I only just got chartered last year, hence I wrote under the new syllabus, which is on their website. I'm not sure if I should print the whole 100 pages or just the part that applies to me for them to notorise, as I only did Skills and Professional levels.

Thanks again.

@Kelvincal144 in addition to the above quote, you must read through this thread to fully understand this process and achieve your dreams. If you don't read, you will be susceptible to such cacophony as generated by your friend.

I have checked and my course of study was on the list but the problem is that I have never worked for anybody or any organization in my life before. I own my business. I meet every other requirement apart from the work experience stuff, hope it won't bring me down as the business I do doesn't have anything to do with the course I studied

It's not a must to claim work experience. But then again that depends on who your assessor is. Others can clarify.

@Kelvincal144 reading the thread from scratch is the simplest task in this migration journey.
next is studying the skills lists and anzsco codes and job descriptions vis a vis your qualifications and experience is for you to enable you nominate the relevant skill/skills.Then talk to your assessors.post specific questions here and you will very helpful info.as to whether you have chances for skilled migration the answer is yes. all the best. my cents worth of advice.

I don't know how it works online but you can try downloading it (if possible). If the download is possible, you don't need copies and no need to notarise. What is required is actually the portion that pertains to the exams you took.

Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by ome240: 9:09am On Oct 31, 2017
Like Zibe earlier said, you must not claim work experience points. Your best option is to nail english test. Check the criterion from your assessing body. If you satisfy them, you shouldn't be having any problems.
DIBP checks that you've been positively assessed and you meet up with the minimum points.
My thoughts.

The results for last invitation round are yet to be released on skillselect, does it mean there won't be invitation today/tomorrow or what? Like they are have challenges... or the whole migration system have gone on sabbatical?
