Visa and SEVIS fees
Tuition and other MSU fees

The teacher is trying to make the student understand what hundreds, tens and unit means. So the right answer should be 300 + 0 + 0

The question seeks to break the figure into the PLACE VALUES of each digit of the figure. The question does not seek to know the different ways to sum up figures to get 300; otherwise, we'll be looking at permutations and combinations. The topic on place values occurs in the curriculum up to secondary school level.

Being that's it's currency being calculated, there isn't such as 0 also the example was in descending order of hundred tens and unit

The answer is wrong because if you look at the examples carefully u will discover that dey all have, hundred, tens and unit in all the answer that means d answer should be
250(hundred) + 45(tens) + 5(unit) = 300

The idea is number bases expansion

If u expand 2356 = 2000+300+50+6

So 300 would be
300 = 300+00+0

No it not the same. This is a quantitative reasoning exercise, follow the trend. H + T+U. £300 , has only Hundredth no Tens nor Units.
