Please lecture me if I'm wrong. After all, we're all hear to learn. But the last time I checked, the board of directors have the power to vote against the president or CEO of a company. And when i said using shares to buy an island, i was giving an example. I believe you heard when Dangote said he wanted to buy arsenal. Have you asked yourself why he halted it? I mean, he can still buy the club and continue his business. But a meeting was held by the board & he was told to complete the refinery project before going after the club. My dear, May Weather doesn't own a company or an organization. So he doesn't have shareholders or board of directors. He owns a boxing gym and has a manager who manages the business for him. He could as well sack the manager any time he wants & nobody will say shit. Most of his wealth comes from boxing & endorsements. As for the debts, I'm not saying he doesn't have any.

Because I was told that a celebrity is a person who is widely recognized in a given society and commands a degree of public and media attention.

But the sum total of everything is, I might be wrong. Maybe Dangote doesn't like showing off. Maybe that's how he is. Maybe he's too old for that shit. Maybe he likes his some what private life.
