You were banned because you posted contents which were deemed divisive and wrong. You refused to clear yourself and just went on to call the group tribalistic for no reason. When asked to show evidence to prove your case, you resorted to making abusive comments, out of hate, spite, anger, bitterness, and self-entitlement.
You joined the group even though in your own words "its a party without formal registration". You only want it taken down now just because you got banned and are no longer a member?.
You also want a violent revolution and we have declined that offer; now you are calling NYRP a terrorist group even when we have vehemently refused your called for violence, guns and bloodshed. Yours is an entirely different case and as you are not willing to humble yourself, with all due respect, move over, as I am addressing @shophut now not you. He has brought so much positivity on this forum and I want to keep that positive energy on here.

No evidence? when 3 out of 4 admins are igbos.

Where did i call for violence? i only pointed out the fact that there is no revolution without bloodshed. Heard how that police that arrested evans was killed? He wasn't safe for doing the right thing and so are we. None of us will be safe and that was why i said i had a formula that could win millions of Nigerians and avoid this bloodshed.

I hope you understand my point.

lindabon,

I and shophut were one of those campaigning for this partpiss until when you guys banned us...sorry your destinies.

NYRP is dead, a tribalistic group. Seun should close this terrorist group.

lalasticlala Mynd44 please expel this illegal organization.

who banned you and shophut NYRP is for every Nigerian youth home or abroad. Our goal is to collectively pioneer the next generation of visionary youth leaders that will rebuild Nigeria to become a great nation it has never been since independence. There is no hidden agenda or mission...it is an open pressure group, give me your Facebook name that was banned and I will investigate and re-add you if you didn't violate our terms.

Key on our binding rules are:

1. Zero tolerance for tribalism, racism, etc
2. Zero tolerance for religious extremism or discrimination
3. Zero tolerance for any discussion about division or disintegration of Nigeria.

We welcome every other non-violent ideas to expand NYRP

we have been calling on members here to please send their Whatsapp numbers to our official email so we can appoint coordinators, they refused to send. Shophut said he doesn't have Whatsapp....I begged him to plz join Whatsapp even if its for this cause, he didn't reply.

The people made admins of the Facebook group are temporary caretakers to organise the group and they were among the pioneer members and also, they showed total commitment to this cause from the very day it was initiated...it has nothing to do with tribe my brother.

We have been begging people from the north, west, east, central to please come and join but people seem not to take this movement serious but guess what

We are advancing so fast....sheath your sword and join us cheerfully.... We are yet to appoint EXCOS and state coordinators....pls join the Whatsapp group, a lot is being discussed there.

We will soon start mass publicity to gain more members outside Nairaland.

The fact that 3 admins of the Facebook page are from southeast and south south is a coincidence and its not late to correct such....we definitely need an active Hausa, Yoruba, Fulani, Ijaw, Efik, Idoma, etc to also join the admins....but they must show total commitment to the movement from here my brother.

You don't just appoint passive member as a BOT of a company, party or organization, hope u understand it now
Re: Nigerian Youth Political Revolution Movement (NYRP) - Join NOW! by lindabon: 6:30pm On Nov 14, 2017
Please lets get people to of all tribes to join the facebook group and be part of the conversation on nairaland. Admin and membership positions remain open for every well-meaning Nigerian regardless of tribe.
Every Nigerian must be fully represented on NYRP at all levels as the group progresses. This remains one of our goals and commitment.

@lindabon, you are the only one i respect here unlike those tribalistic humans who kicked me out(though i still know what's going on there). Yea, I gave threats earlier that i could destroy this group and it's true but i'm letting this group die on its own. I was banned and i'm back, i'll watch your every moves to see that you guys are just online revolutionist and would disappear at the sight of a desert eagle 5.5 shotgun grin I'll ask you lindabon, can you give your life for this movement? Can you argue with someone holding an ak47 telling you to renounce your alliance? I doubt you will cheesy. All revolutions comes with a price; which is blood. shocked From the china communists up to Hong Kong down to French revolution; it wasn't done online but rather a radical movement that took everyone with surprise.

I'm a strategist, i have the little recipe that will brainwash 90% of Nigerians into joining this movement but no, the idea dies with me.

Thanks mods for releasing me grin

What about ya'll website? lol
oh oh, you are shophut and Jon Snow on Facebook Why the foreign name

You were blocked from the Facebook group because they said u were a foreigner. If you are Jon Snow, then we can re add you....but you really need to join Whatsapp so we can plan faster and better there, whatsapp is easier to communicate, think about it

we aren't scared of anybody joining the group....DSS, EFCC, NPF, Nigerian Army Officers, the incumbent president, senators, governors, ministers, etc can join....we aren't discussing any secret agenda....all we are after is a better Nigeria for us all and the best reliable approaches to achieve that is our goal.

To say the least, I am @Shophut NOT @John Snow

I was banned for 3 days and released today simply because i tried posting what i know would save many of us here.

@lindabon, thank you for the compliment but to be sincere with you NYRP is NOT on my agenda anymore.

@Ourchoice, a leader listens to his followers. You started this vision and we all believed in it and supported this cause but along the line you derailed from the formation. Members complained about the admins on Facebook and other social media handles, you promised effecting changes but till now NO CHANGES were made. #difficulttobelieveiamintherightplace

Moreover, a piece of advice to you all, to succeed in this mission, we have to take our meetings out of social media platforms.

All the best to NYRP and comrades in the struggle.

After the long BAN from the mods, i have been released at last.

Hmmm...i weep for Nigeria, If only the youths of today can see that we have bought into the intrigues of our leaders to mortgaged our future and that of the generations to come.

I was kicked out of NYRP facebook group, which goes to confirm that indeed NYRP is tribalistic. I will keep saying what needs to be done here no matter whose goat is in the market.

Be that as it may, i have taken down the forms and whatever contributions i did for this group

Let's get to see how NYRP proceed from here.

Already it is on its way home.

Thank you all, i am out of here

I didn't see where you gave me your Email....you enjoy accusations, tension and fight, why Not nice for a youth you know. But why are you answering Jon Snow on facebook, that's even against Facebook's terms....the reason for your ban was that you are a foreigner...and for now, we don't need foreigners, we will open doors for them later but for now, we need only Nigerians with Nigerian interest at heart.

From all your comments, it seems you are shophut....and I just read where you said you are taking down the forms you created for NYRP....just like that for no genuine reason, this goes to show that you weren't really committed to the movement.

A member here raised the alarm that Jon Snow should be removed from the Facebook group and I adhered to the request, you never came back here to inform us that you are Jon Snow.....you just assumed that you were being targeted when nobody knows your Facebook name to start with.

You intentionally said you don't have whatsapp....which is kind of impossible....you were just avoiding using your real name to be a part of NYRP for reasons best known to you.

Anyway, whatever it is, NYRP has no hidden agenda, so we got nothing to fear.....so no need for anybody to spy on our activities because all our activities are open to every Nigerian.

Hmmmm na wa o.....when did anybody complain if not yesterday that @Oloruntobi4382 made the allegation...and I refuted his claim with facts....we can't just make anybody that is not committed to NYRP an admin of our social handles....we made you to be in charge of our registration forms.....which is even the biggest task and admin role but you came back here for no big issue to say you have deleted the forms, is that a quality of an admin

You have our official email, why not mail me with your complaints

You talked about website creation, I told you that you will handle it....and even asked for the cost.....but it was placed on hold until we have enough members before launching a site.....you are the one in charge of the major admin roles but you are undermining your role and decided to be crying marginalization when you are even the bigger boss in charge of the main admin roles, na wa o.

You really disappointed me......you of all people I was even expecting to hold the house in order, mhen, you no try, this is sad.

Our youths are too impatient, this is not the way to go at all, I am not impressed with your actions.

I am a very busy person, as in very busy....I usually squeeze out time for this cause....I started this out of passion to effect a positive change in Nigeria after seeing how European, American and even Asian countries are leaving us behind in terms of national peace and development, God in heaven knows I have no hidden agenda....and I am even ready to cease being an admin.....in fact, I was waiting to see committed members join with their whole heart before I can hand over all admin roles and just be a moderator and coordinator, and I was even considering you for such roles....but here you are crying wolf when there is none, too bad

I will reinterate that roles need to have a team behind it. We should have roles fully padded and backed by a working-team so that if one person decides to leave, they don't leave with everything that we have been working hard for which could leave us in the dark. Why I understand the need for more members before forming teams, I want to use this example to show the importance of having a team behind every persons role. So that if one person decides not to be part of the movement or decides to take a break, others in the team can continue running things. The team members can also keep each other motivated in hard and difficult times

For all those handling different tasks at the moment, please if you give up at any point, at least handover or relinquish your role to someone else willing to take over from you. Don't throw away all the hard-work and effort you and others have put in the movement. I'm also not into admin roles and would happily give up the role for someone who has more passion for it as I'm not a fan of power, publicity and fame.

@shophut and all
Things are moving but its not easy to move at top speed at this initial phase mostly because;
We are not monetised.
We are not using dodgy "connections".
We are not using force.
We don't have a hidden agenda.
We are giving everyone equal say in the movement
We are selecting people for roles according to their contribution not just randomly picking anyone for the sake of filling a void or vacuum.

They say Nigerians are impatient. They say Nigerians have short-term thinking (enjoy today and forget about tomorrow mentality). I can say that this is true in my experience and it is why we are here in the first place. Our country is suffering as a result of our leaders own short-term greed, which we are all guilty. For this movement to be successful, we must do the opposite of what our leaders have already done. Patience is one of the things lacking in our leaders and we should try to form a habit of always keeping tomorrow in mind and remember that our actions today will determine the outcomes of our lives and that of our future generation in the years to come.
