Icon4s:Excellent! glad to have been part of this, already we are beginning to see good signs, as for the first time the issues of bonus and allowances have been sorted out already by nff and the players. Also for the first time we have started playing grade A friendlies with the Argentina match which was a spectacle admired by football fans all over the world. I have a football app on my phone which gives goal alert and goals highlights as any match is going on. I was proud to even see Uzoho's brilliant save, Iheanacho's free kick and Iwobi's second goal as major highlights of that game with an headline 'Argentina disgraced' mhen I felt on top of the world as a Nigerian. I believe it can only get better now cos I keep having this feeling that the folks in the glass house reads our comments here and looks like they take our suggestions seriously. God bless Nigeria. @ Icons, well done bruv and to every distinguished member of this forum, I hail. |

Joebie:1st choice bi ti bawo, since when? for where? and how This guy may never play for us. we have shehu, Aina, Ebuehi, Brian in the team struggling for that spot. Let alone those on the outside looking in. Nura, Otigba, Ehizube, Sinniger e.t.c, injury really messed up your chances. |

Mujtahida:Ok. Decided to wait till tomorrow before taking it to NFF and Ibitoye's handle just in case some late suggestions would fly in. But I will create a thread for it on nairaland now. We may also get more suggestions from the wider generality. Thanks for your inputs |

No need to be angry. Ebuehi isn't leaving this Super Eagles team unless we push him out. He's now part and parcel of the team. O pari forgiveness: |

Looking at our seeding going into the draw on December 1st, If we can avoid Spain in pot 2 or get drawn with either Russia or Poland in pot 1 we should be able to hold our own and get out of the group stages, but the gods might not be so kind... |

KevinDein:That dude is a gift to Nigerian football. He's fast becoming a legend in Jay Jay and Kanu's class. He's improves a lot despite leaving Chelsea for China. Capable of scoring goals unlike before, takes on defenders when you don't expect. The backbone of the team |

This is good news. Moses Odubajo is a solid RB. Unfortunately, he won't be match fit for the World Cup but he might get his chance in the AFCON. O pari Joebie: |

Goke7:should in case he is dropped from the world cup list without been capped, he is good as gone. The same thing played out during Fashanu's era when the coach refused to cap him eventhought he was always on the bench. he was frustrated and dished us for England. I hope Rohr doesn't give chance for the devil to work. |

Icon4s:Why do you have time to respond that funny guy. So Argentina are now mediocre?... The 4th best team in the world with world class attackers. A team that defeated Russia that Spain couldn't beat That guy is a joker. |

goldfish80:Okay then because graphically he put Mikel in an advanced position. They say Iwobi doesn't have the range and vision of Mikel to play as an AM. I agree he does not have Mikel's passing range and vision but his clip clip passing can be lethal. |

forgiveness:I think with ebuehi's performance against Argentina, he will definitely be called up again and with another good showing, he is on the plane to russia. we don't have too many options on the RB and so ebuehi's chances are very high |

Mujtahida:Akpeyi, is not a bad keeper, never has been. He's been an average keeper. He is on a very good form at his club side. Couple of clean sheets. Our problem with him is that he's prone to errors whenever he plays for us. This is beyond the ordinary, it's psychological, unless he deals with that fear that overwhelms him whenever he's in post for us, it's better he stays out of further embarrassment and reject further call ups. We can continue calling him up while he continues making those silly mistakes. This was why I asked, if you'd seen billions, you see how with a performance coach, a bunch of average traders make millions of dollars for their hedge firm. |

quality post boss i would also add NFF and Sports Ministry should as much possible be on the same page. no repeat of the team travelling fiasco that occurred before the rio olympics and cold war during the brazil 2014 World Cup. This is to avoid being a negative influence and undue distraction to the team. Icon4s: |

Icon4s:Majority of the players who qualified the team should be kept. Only players who are better than the current crop should be added. Introducing too many new players had its negative effects in our 2002 and 2014 campaigns. The team should also be a good mix of youth and experience as we hope to achieve a balanced transition in the team even beyond Russia 2018. The best players should be selected devoid of favoritism. I do not agree with this point because restricting the selection throw a mix of experience and youth, or majority of those who qualified, tarnishes the last line of the paragraph. We need the very best in every role. Those willing to play for us. The problem with the last teams is not the introduction of new players but not fielding our best. It has been a reoccurring problem in the Super Eagles. |
