This issue of having federal roads in states is a misfit. It is enough for the federal to construct these roads, but the responsibility of maintenance should fall on the states.

All join, you can't allocate same budget to a state with 5 million people and same with a state of 500,000 people if factors like 13% derivation, oil producing, landmass, natural or man made emergencies etc are removed.

we should not sing alleluyah because the FG has said it.....it may be true but note that road contract are award to human beings and most of the roads are given to their south south and south east brothers to do, yet they collect the funds and refuse to do the road, or say do a half job and no one dares question them. ...so to me, it not about worst road, but about much stealing and looting in this part of the region. .will any northern dares to collect road construction fund and refuse to do that road? yet we shout their roads are the best, cos they are straight forward in that aspect...my advice is that road contractors in the affected region should live up to expectations.

The south South and South east leaders are the problem to their people... Corruption looms in those region... What has their past gov or learders doing when they were in power
