Going to England was a bad move for his development. He had only spent a season in Spain.

TheGoodJoe:

Success has already done well in Spain. Going back there will not prove much of a challenge compared to matching the intensity of the EPL. Success should adapt to the intensity, drop weight and work on increasing his speed.

If he can match Richarlison, he is ready for play and Marco Silva will give him his chance.

Isaac Success is not even on the team sheet at Watford.

When I called him a waste man so many went up in arms. Having the talent and throwing it in the bin considering where we are coming from. The struggle for daily bread in a harsh and unforgiving environment. I find unforgivable.

As it stands there is 109% far more justification for the inclusion of Obagoal than Isaac Success.

Obagoal has better stats by ratio than Ighalo and they play in the same league in China.

What I had in mind when I made that comment was, there's no one player in the current eagles' squad who's style is close to that of Martins, if not Success.

Wasn't calling for his inclusion, it's really unfortunate he's finding things hard at the moment. Ighalo was to Isaac at watford what Yaks was to Anichebe at Everton.

is it good thing for Ighalo to come back to EPL?
when u consider his fat wages and his form he has been able rediscover in China, plus he plays better for us since he went to China,i don't think he should go back to EPL,
He'll probably go on loan. No epl club will match his Chinese wages

My man with due respect you are free to say anything and am not forcing you to edit anything just an advice for our image but since you believe you know much about the fixing of the match you can go on it's a free world.

What you are saying is not new to me on the match but the allegations then was seen baseless, malicious, unfounded, uncalled for, myopic and stupid and there was no time FIFA try to investigate the match.

The defeat was so painful that Argentina organised another friendly in Bangladesh which we lost 3-1.

Why are you trying to back your fact with UK telegraph just like metro, these are junk media outfits.

Look am not argue that there are no syndicates trying to upturned matches,so no need to educate me on it.I cite an example of John Fashanu and Bruce Grobellar case which they later acquitted, also the recent one involved Dickson Etuhu which was found to be untrue.

What is my business with Bahrain Togo match, there are lot of cases of match fixing but my concern is Nigeria vs Argentina match which you believe it was fixed. If you can give me your fact I w keep shut.

Oh you mean Ejide was involved in match fixing against Scotland?my man you are going too far on this cos a personality is involved and am hearing it for the first time.

The match you are talking about i watched it Live and I can tell you Ejide was just too nervous in that match,he lacked composure and confidence in that particular match, the parried of the ball was not intentional.Haba this was a young boy just coming up keeping for Gabros in Nnewi, just getting national calls and was involved in match fixing,Haba Oga.

It was this howler from Ejide that gave Enyeama the opportunity to be invited to super eagles.Ejide was always jittery in our friendlies,go and check it out.

If you are saying Ejide was influenced by match fixing syndicate then Zubrizzetta of Spain that parried Garba Lawal crossed into his own net was influenced by who cos i never see any Spanish citizens accusing Zubri of match fixing.

If i may ask you who are the people involved in Argentina match fixing cos in your first comment you said FIFA wanted to ban Nigeria, for what and now again you are trying to involve the refree.Pls do you really know the meaning of match fixing cos you are so sure of what you are saying, honestly am baffled.

We beat Argentina thoroughly not match fixing cos nobody was accused and no investigation on both sides even on the officials but a lot believe Nigeria cannot beat Argentina 4-1 so there were beer parlour talks that led to nauseating news reports especially from junk sports media in UK who don't see anything good about Africa.

CC:Icon4s,Michael2,Mujtahida,Joebie,Junnyake,Taliban,forgiveness

When Argentina beat us for replay why dem no count am as match fixing?

Ok, did the referee wanted the match to end 4:1?
How was the 4 goals scored? Was there referee's impute in those goals or were they clean goals?
Was the Argentina national team involved in the magomago?
Then why was it so hard for them to believe to the extent they demanded for rematch?

Based on these I don't think there was any match fixing on the side of referee because he we scored 4 clean counter attacks goals.

Ndidi and Troost-Ekong are two players I can't remember getting any injury both for club and country since they began playing for the Super Eagles.... Shehu Abdullahi too

These three either have some really great bones or avoid tackles... The latter is obviously not it.

I think the other players should talk to them about their diets, perhaps that's the secret

So I was just thinking last night how a country like Poland (and to some extent Portugal) played and manipulated the FIFA ranking game to find themselves in the pot 1. This something we could discuss here and make some recommendations to the NFF regarding the 2022 World Cup. I mean, Poland has shown that you can game the system and that's not cheating .... it's called gaining a competitive edge grin

Anyway, let's put on our thinking caps on and come up with ways we can make FIFA ranking work for the Super Eagles going forward.

Mickael2, Junnyjake, Kog45, MetalJigsaw, elyte89, Icon4s, Mujtahida, tbaba1234, Joebie, goodjoe, Taliban, forgiveness, komekn, ChrisKels, Chrismario, kennysville, kingphilip, soetanoreoluwa, safarigirl, chrisooblog, optional1, Napoleon55, realpoacher, jotey, sontoly, Daejoyoung, nelszx, etc.

O pari

Honestly, I no longer care about FIFA ranking because if we want to be the best there is no way we can avoid playing the best.

So, I think we should just focus on reaching the finals in the WC then we go be number 1 or 2. grin

I do not think going to England was a bad move as such. He worked with sound managers like Quique Sanchez Flores and Walter Mazarri. He came to a competitive environment but I think Success first dream was to become rich and as soon as he sealed the Watford deal, he was satisfied he made it.

I think that caused the distraction and also affected his work ethic.

I hope he comes to the realization that he has the potential to become a great player and make use of the opportunities around him.

I did not watch the game between Leicester City and West Ham yesterday which ended 1-1. I found it strange that Claude Puel chose to make only two changes when the game was 1-1 in the first half. Made me do some digging and found he is not an attacking coach.

Not the kind of Coach I want Iheanacho playing under.

Why Southampton sacked Puel

There was dissatisfaction from Southampton fans about his so-called ‘negative’ defensive tactics and Southampton did score only 41 goals in 38 Premier League games. In fact, they failed to score in their last five home games of the season.

Rumours continued throughout the season that the players were not happy and there were stories of training ground rows and arguments about his squad rotation policies.

It should also be pointed out that while Southampton finished eighth, they were sixth the season before under Ronald Koeman and enjoyed a poor Europa League campaign under Puel.

In his 53 games as Southampton boss, they won 20 games, lost 20 games and drew 13.

Football is a competitive race.

When you slow down or break down and or get delayed for whatever reason. You get over taken.

There will be boys who are working night and day for an opportunity to show thier ability. He could be overtaken. Add to that the this other issue which reflects life. It takes years to build up a good reputation and relationships. It takes a day to destroy them. Success has a far from good reputation in the club from both present and past managers.

In this regard if he doesn't want to be a waste man he has to humble himself and change the perception he has given of himself. That will not be easy.

It would be better for him to go on loan fresh start and prove himself and get called back. If he goes to a Championship side scores 20 goals he will be back in the first team. That in itself is far from easy.

If Success scores 20 goals in the Championship, it is not convincing enough to believe he can compete with Richarlison. Richarlison is the problem. He is a machine.

I say Success toughen up, work on his speed, change his diet, develop insane discipline and give Richarlison a run for his money. Marco Silva will give Success his chance if he shows improvement in training.

It is a tough call but it will get the best from Success.

At the end, it falls back to Success' drive and motivation to get back in form and favor with the manager.

I also hope Marco Silva has not cut Success from his plans. These Spanish coaches like disciplined players.
