The argument among Yorubas towards igbos and by extension other southerners on nairaland is that they developed Lagos through their hardwork, intelligence and sophistication. What happened to the remaining five states. Why is their development not anywhere close to Lagos. I need honest explanation for this discrepancy.

Why are there so many dilapidated buildings with brown roof in the rest of south west? Especially in state capitals?

I have never seen a city wide pictures with city skyline posted by a Yoruba person. All I keep seeing is zooming into specific neighborhoods and saying it represents the whole city.

The only city you South westerners actually post the skyline is Lagos.

although i know ur mission i go still talk my mind. Lagos before oil was the commercial centre of lag, investors and pple developed it( regardless of tribe) , pple moved to lagos en masse from east and west. after oil too d development accelerated. no tribe can be said to develop lagos, even the oil self na whites,yoruba(adenuga abiola), igbo( u sabi dem) and northerners invest in d sector till dem find oil. while SS pple dey fuk

The whole Igboland was a forest when those houses were built and earned Ibadan the title of the 2nd largest city in Africa in term of population and landmasse!The modern part of Ibadan is 5x those picture showed.
