I registered in the pre degree program in RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY ,we are about to start, the problem is that the Med & Surg dept is still under construction, the course was not listed in Jamb, students that did the programme last year were not given admission. I want to know if I am wasting my time. But the school has promised that by this time next yr everything will be ready. Sorry 4 the long post.
The school doesn't have accreditation yet for admission into Medical school.
Its clearly written, like you said, in your jamb brochure.
Why then being confused?? Would you believe your school rumours or believe Jamb who is saddled with the task of admitting students??
You had better not make mistakes.

what were the criteria for promoting the 55? Does it mean the 67 failed one or more 200L courses?

Two passes from Anatomy, Biochemistry, and physiology... so only 55 students passed two of the three or the three... 67 failed 2 of the 3 courses or fail the 3 outrightly

.
My advice for you is to see the Pre-degree programme as an avenue that will help you score high in 2018 UTME. You may now switch to university in your area having Medicine and surgery accredited.
Universities as UNIPORT, Choba, Portharcourt, Rivers state or NDU Wilberforce island, Bayelsa state.

if the quota is 100, why are only 55 promoting? Something is fishy.

Anyone has an idea on how UNIBEN does its own. Do they also pick the best 10 from physiology and anatomy, to medicine in 200L like UNILORIN?

Hello everyone. Please, I want to ask a question. Do the college of medicine lecturers in university tell students which textbooks to read?
Thanks for your reply in advance.
