Then the Ijaws should please allow peace to reign since it has been decided in the court or they can appeal if they are not satisfied.

Your ranting did not answer my question. Check my first line "Yoruba is plus or minus anybody" Yoruba don't claim people rather people trace their descent to us even as far as Ewe of Present day Togo. The binis are the one trying to claim other people by your revisionist history of a lost prince being recalled from Ile Ife and the fallacy of Lagos. Binis are now laughing stock for Nairaland folks. "Oba no dey comot for Palace", now he is in Garki going up and down, bini owns Lagos , now the Ijaws are here to claim the tiny enclave you are even managing. Please accept my sympathy. You said OBA is not a Yoruba word only, why not prove me wrong by spelling it using your alphabets?

dude stop showing ur ignorance for everyone to see just look for any gazette publications of western region from the 40s up until the mid 70s or Midwestern gazette publications from 1963 to 75 . I can clearly state you are ignorant and not well educated in your history. it is people like you who are trying to create a different set of history. pls I urge u to emancipate itself from your ignorance by finding these documents and reading them. it was when I read those documents esp the native authority section that I realised a set of people were warping our history

Thank you sir.
The niger delta people have many other issues to settle, but these ijaws just want to make themselves an additional problem.
They are hell bent on destabilizing the region just so that they can lay claim to ohter people's lands.
Every groupings in the south-south has one problem or the other with the ijaw, enough is enough.

You've written well enough man, in both logical reasoning and garnered with facts too, anyone not laced and romanced with sentimentality and a biased mindset can easily pick out truths from your arguments and see how you've tryna defend your own from gallivanting cowards.

you should relax your fingers man and have a goodnight rest, all this their rantings will be over in due time.

Ijaw, you guys need to stop your fabrications, and get more educated. Edo history is too well documented. And contrary to what you think, the Oba of Benin is not just the Oba of Benin City. His real title is Omo n'Oba n'Edo. He is the King of the Benin Kingdom. Benin City is only the capital of the Benin Kingdom, not the Kingdom itself ! Edo state is a small part of the Kingdom and you ijaw are trying to crown a "king" in a part of an already established kingdom. I hope you people can understand this and stop your madness ! When you migrate into an area, try and learn the history of the land. Don't just start making claims of "we were here first" and don't start "crowning" your "son" in a foreign land, you might get slaughtered by the owners of the land. This is an advise and a warning!
spew your gangue.vomit waste from your mouth but dont worry, just only two camps will settle you and you will remain silent forever.you have the gut to insult a whole a tribe? how educated are you? take it or leave,we determine what happens in the delta.advice your king not to push us to war because if we do,i bet you benin kingdom will become history.if you doubt this, ask the itsekiris in warri, they will tell you how not to engage in a war with an ijaw man.look,we are not cowards,we dont fear death like you.if your king likes,he should take his shuttle to the mars.but on that day,we will make darkness falls on that state.i hope you can handle it very very very well, operate it and withstand enough grandnut.women!

Ijaws like trouble, they have forgetten that the Benins and other tribes in Edo state are also War tribes.
In this case, there is no contest, you cannot be a visitor in another man's house and want to claim Lord over his property.
I hope this is peacefully resolved!
Do you read at all?
So in your opinion, Ijaws are visitors in Edo State because the Bini are in majority. Warp reasoning.

If you think there is no contest, then watch carefully.....just my piece of advice

This your moniker is a respected deity in Ife-odan where I'm from. Your mentioned Ejio. We have Obajio compound here, also called Ejio.

Ife Odan, Ifewara, Ufe Oke [Idanre], Ife Ijumu, Oke Igbo & a few others were founded by Oonis who migrated and took things peculiar to Ife with them in order to start new towns with Ife ‘feel’ to them.

Ife Odan was founded/settled in by Ooni Ogboru [Sijuade’s ancestor].

Obajio is the third to the Ooni, that family welcomed and ushered Osin-Ora [aka Oduduwa] into Ife. They are descendants of Oramfe, another prominent deity peculiar to Ife but worshipped in Idanre. Do you have Oramfe worship over there?

I will tell you the emboldened.

Ado is a variation of central/eastern Yoruba word for camp.

Ago is the southern Yoruba variation for camp.

And Ibudo is the western/Oyo Yoruba variation for camp.

They all mean camp, war camp.

Take a seat.

Yes, Olaogbooru founded Ife-odan.

Oramfe is not here. The popular ones are Orisala, Obalufon, Orisaoko, Sango, etc.

then thank you. I should have u know that my great grandfather was one of the commanders who the oba sent to deal with recalcitrant Yoruba kings who decided that they would not pay homage to him this was part of the Benin/ekiti wars which occurred from the 1830s to shortly before the invasion of Benin in 1897. I would also be happy to tell you that your fellow Yoruba's who knew who they should pay homage to helped them in fact one of such who rose to prominence by becoming a captain of the warlords omumu and asa(bor) army was ekemode. they went as far as ekiti to a place currently called ado ekiti. they are now quite numerous and have become a sub group/tribe/clan in Benin. they are called ado-akure(this is because their main base was at akure).
