@justwise You don't see anything wrong in his delivery, passing the message isn't the issue but the delivery..I have the right to speak on whatever pleases me on this forum, the same sets of people will complain or complain over and over about Trumps delivery before he became president yet sees nothing wrong in someone undermining a whole lot of Nigerians just because you think what he says is the absolute truth or the excuse of "Nigerians dont like to hear the truth"

Thanks. I meant someone who has used a post office or county office rather than the passport agency downtown.

drI:

I don't get the gist of the passport office rather than the agency.

I did mine about 6 weeks ago and I went to the passport office at downtown Houston for submission of the documents. I got the passport the next day. it depends on ur travel itinerary. Here is their number(877) 487-2778

i am referring to the US passport. hope that's what you refer to?
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by Supernaturalone: 2:20pm On Dec 03, 2017
Thanks. When did you use the post office? How many days exactly did yours take?

anonymousmum:

I’m guessing you meant at the post office rather than the Passport agency?

In that case, it takes 2 to 3 weeks.

Good day every1...please, I'm a permanent resident in U.S, got married in May, my wife and I are expecting a baby in march, she is stil living in Nigeria. I would have filed for her but with green card it takes about 2 years before that goes through for her to come, I recently applied for my citizenship, awaiting my interview date, but right now she will be due before I even get my citizenship and apply for her.

So my question is....
What are our chances if I invite her to U.S for delivery so that I can take care of her and the baby during and after delivery...?

And by the way , my problem with you is the way you present the issues and not the issues itself. Educate but do not insult(that is if you can)

Hello ikesim -

We do not comment on chances for visa issuance in individual cases. We are here to discuss qualifications for a visa. One of the requirements for most non-immigrant visas is that the applicant have strong ties outside the United States which will compel them to return to their home after their temporary visit. Someone who has the strong tie of their spouse living in the United States will need to have equally strong ties outside the United States.

I think i need to address this silly and childish false allegation

I have been here for 8yrs with this ID and anybody that frequent this section knows that i don't need another ID to say anything different.

Why do i need 2 IDs to post something in a section i have been moderating since 2012?

Don't you think its silly and quiet frankly ridiculous to suggest that i will be operating 2 IDs, with one calming to live and work in USA and another claiming to live and work in the UK? Does that make any bloody sense to any of you?

What is Twoods saying with his ID that you think i can't say with mine? That i need to get another ID to enable me to say?

I challenge any of you to provide any shred of evidence to back up your allegation because i will not you to tarnish my image here.

I'm giving you 72hrs to do that else i will revisit this issue again.

Please how can one go about scheduling an urgent visa interview date so as not to miss what they are traveling to the US for?
Also, how possible is it to get an interview at the embassy in a day or two?

Please anybody with info should assist and supply. Agent has messed up everything for the person in question after so much money spent. Everything gone down the drain and agent is AWOL.

By scheduling your interview well in advance of your travel, and taking the advice of the VOs NOT to use agents at any time for this process.

Google is the surest and most trusted way to go. But as others have warned Kwantinu asking at your own peril. Rayray75 and other serial accomodationist are still on the swarm like bees.

OK. What about getting an urgent date, please.

This site lists your options for getting an expedited appointment - http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-niv-emergencyappointment.html

As you will note, there are very stringent criteria and you will need to provide documented proof, explicitly described in the webpage above. To be honest, unless your need for an expedited date is for a death or medical emergency (i assume it is neither for a student visa or business purpose), you likely do not qualify for an expedited appointment.
