eph12:Who measured the quality of chance? When Lukaku dey burst net with awoof goal where you dey? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 11:19pm On Dec 03, 2017 |
raumdeuter:I am not arguing who miss more. Going back to basics, we complained about what he does while not scoring. It was some guys here who kept taking about style of play, and that others get three times his chance. Na lie. They all get 3-4 chances per game. Big chances missed shows for every goal scored, Aguero, Lukaku miss one big chance. But Salah, Kane and others have better records. So the impression that Salah, Aguero etc have 3X the chances of Lukaku per match has been nullified by stats. How will Lukaku get chance when his heavy touch pushes the ball to the goalkeeper instead of beating him as we had against Arsenal? |

elampiro:Bro you get time ooo. Allow these people please. Anybody with a sound football brains know the truth about Lukaku. No need for this back and forth. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 11:44pm On Dec 03, 2017 |
elampiro:Exactly what I have trying to tell you. Because of the style of play coupled with playing with the useless Mkhi for majority of those games he went on goal drought, he had to drop deep to involve himself and create something. |

elampiro:Including the one against Newcastle right? Of all those topping the charts, only Kane has proven to be better in recent years so no surprises with him being above Lukaku. Everyone is surprised with Salah's performance and goals. He is the surprise package this season but hope he can see it through. How many penalties has Aguero scored to pad his stats? Jesus has scored about 3-4 easy tap ins and he does have the defensive burden Lukaku has. |

All this talks about Lukaku won't change anything. He has come to stay for long in the club, it's not as if the bashing will throw him back to Everton ![]() Yes lukaku is not world class,i agree, yet he has almost 7 goals left to reach a landmark 100goals in d PL even at a younger age . The best thing we can do is to hope for d best, there's no better strikers in the game atm (only few). I just hope mourinho starts playing him in d box against small teams, he desperately need a goal ,I can tell that. |

“We are going to find our best moment very soon. We are second and chasing to be top of the table. "It was a fantastic result [at Arsenal] with some great performances. David [De Gea] was amazing, and we were clinical in the first half, with two chances in the first 15 minutes and two goals. "Then of course Arsenal have a lot of quality and they were going to create chances, but for the two or three big ones they had, David was there so we’re very happy. "Jesse [Lingard] is on fire now, Paul [Pogba] as well, it’s a pity he got a red card. Romelu [Lukaku] didn’t score but he helped us a lot. The centre-backs – Victor [Lindelof] is in fantastic form right now. So we are optimistic of course." - ANDER HERRERA |

“Sometimes, you just start a game with a really good save, with a good feeling, you feel that [unbeatable] but we started the game really well, we scored two important goals and it’s true that we lost a bit of a control of the game after, but it was a good performance. “Probably the double save [that deny Lacazette's low half-volley and Alexis Sanchez's effort on the follow-up], when we were winning 2-1 [in the second half]. I think that was the most important save but, like I said, the full team defended very well and fought for the three points." - DAVID DE GEA |

“We're really happy. I think they were both very tough games away from home [Watford and Arsenal Games]. We now have confidence to play the last Champions League group game and after that, the derby. "We're really confident now, we score many goals and this is the key as we look forward to the next game." - DAVID DE GEA |

chrisley024:His is worse, for a striker who is supposed to be in a position of scoring goals when the team attacks, you either see him drifting to the right or looking lost |

dopeJemi:It's possible his spending most times outside the box is from Jose cos it wasn't this way at the beginning of the season likewise not in his NT. Or is he intimidated with Ibra coming back and trying to play like him That is trying to bring his team into play instead of just running inside |

elampiro:Your Lukaku debate with dayo and eph12. Hope you won't rue it later. Just like the Pogba scenario where you were defending yourself against a lot of people |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 2:50pm On Dec 04, 2017 |
I personally think having debates is healthy, just shows your knowledge of the game. But when you need to take your L, just do so humbly and wait for your comeback another day. |

"Zlatan needs sometimes very hard work on the muscular area that supports the knee that had the problem. And when the period for that hard work comes, also the fatigue comes. "He was on this cycle of work, divided between the gym and the pitch. And he will be out again for tomorrow but I believe back to normal work after CSKA." - JOSE MOURINHO |

"All the other players that didn't play the last match are still out. Intriguingly, I can make a surprise tomorrow and the one that is unavailable, he plays." - JOSE MOURINHO |

“We have problems, we have injuries. Matic is injured and when I say he is injured, he is injured. I am not going to make him play tomorrow so Matic is out. "A couple of others guys are playing every match and they also need a rest. More importantly, the others deserve an opportunity to play." - JOSE MOURINHO |

"Yes, [Asked if he had ever worked with a better goalkeeper than David De Gea] Romero. Because he plays tomorrow and my goalkeeper is always the best goalkeeper in the world. "So now David is the third best. Romero is number one and Joel [Pereira] number two, and David is the third best." - JOSE MOURINHO |
