Big chances missed shows for every goal scored, Aguero, Lukaku miss one big chance. But Salah, Kane and others have better records. So the impression that Salah, Aguero etc have 3X the chances of Lukaku per match has been nullified by stats.

Exactly what I have trying to tell you. Because of the style of play coupled with playing with the useless Mkhi for majority of those games he went on goal drought, he had to drop deep to involve himself and create something.

Do you know Aguero has not scored from open play in the league since September 23. His 3 goals since then have been from the spot. That is over 2 months of not scoring from open play in a team like Man City where they create chances anyhow and he stays in the box

Of all those topping the charts, only Kane has proven to be better in recent years so no surprises with him being above Lukaku. Everyone is surprised with Salah's performance and goals. He is the surprise package this season but hope he can see it through. How many penalties has Aguero scored to pad his stats? Jesus has scored about 3-4 easy tap ins and he does have the defensive burden Lukaku has.

All this talks about Lukaku won't change anything. He has come to stay for long in the club, it's not as if the bashing will throw him back to Everton
Yes lukaku is not world class,i agree, yet he has almost 7 goals left to reach a landmark 100goals in d PL even at a younger age . The best thing we can do is to hope for d best, there's no better strikers in the game atm (only few). I just hope mourinho starts playing him in d box against small teams, he desperately need a goal ,I can tell that.

It's possible his spending most times outside the box is from Jose cos it wasn't this way at the beginning of the season likewise not in his NT. Or is he intimidated with Ibra coming back and trying to play like him That is trying to bring his team into play instead of just running inside
