No, I meant that I got stamped but I can’t find the older passport with the stamp and travel evidence. I was there for about a week. Do you think I should leave it out since I don’t have proof?

Madam get the FBI pcc to avoid stories that touch.

abi? see syria na.. in 2014 they werent among top 20 countries sef, all of a sudden in 2015 their numbers rose from about 2000 to 34,000 securing them 3rd place. i think refugees, asylum seekers and other pathways make up a huge percentage of permanent residents.

Is there an additional charges because I checked their site and saw 68k

If you are registering on your own no charges. But through an agent they could charge you 2k or more for processing. Making it 70k

Hello E-Family, been trying to catch up with Part 2 and still not gotten upto page 100. I want to thank @BsBabe, she has been helpful quite a lot. God bless you. I read somewhere in Part 2 that if one had stayed cumulatively for 6months in another country over a period of time, that person will need a PCC? How true is that?

In 2015, I spent 71 days in the USA, purpose of visit was Medical Tourism
In 2016, I spent 30 days, purpose of visit was for a wedding event & holiday
In 2017, I spent 77 days, purpose of visit was Medical Tourism.

Collectively, I have spent over 6months. Please do I need to get a FBI PCC? If yes, how do I go about it?

I wait your responses. Many thanks Fam.

Amen and you’re welcome anytime. Yes you do need a PCC from the US. please check instructions here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/united-states.html

U must av spent 180days before u can request for PCC n based on it stats, u be only spent 178days. I don't think u need a PCC. But Let the seniors in d house chip in first
I may be wrong too.

My spouse had less than 180 days cumulative for the UK and we were asked for UK PCC. It was 170+ (can’t remember the exact number now).

Right, you just need to state it in your previous travel section. Since you are using a current passport, there is no need to worry about a week visit to Ghana. You will only be required to show all the pages with stamps/visas in your current passport.

Hello everyone.

I am hoping to re locate to canada early 2018. Either as a student or PR. I am currently a banker in nigeria, 33 yrs , single , male, reasonably comfortable. I am not in a serious relationship but would love to be in one and hopefully get married soon. I am wondering if my decision to relocate would affect my prospects of being married soon. There is a female colleague of mine I have been thinking of, but don't want to commit to it then travel away. So i don't break anybody heart.

Please let me know your thought.

Is this a relationship thread? Well, ball on your court

Please Gurus in the house help me clear this out.

At the point of my application to CIC we are a family of 3, but my wife is pregnant. Considering the settlement funds, will i have to provide POF to cover the unborn child?

Once you raise a CSE for the baby to be added as a dependant, you will have to show a corresponding POF for him or her too. That will amount to POF for 4.

I'm wondering where you read the visits should be consecutive? You mean cummulative? Please don't mislead her with speculations because when they ask her for it (by the way it takes more than 3 months to get) you won't be there.

@Godsaysyes please go ahead and do the FBI.

Hello gurus, E-family kindly advice, between ICES and WES which should I use to assess my ND and HND considering that ICES doesn't contact the school for verification as WES does which takes lot of time ?

Good evening great people. Please inhale a question..on feeling the application form on line, there are 2 columns under statutory questions in the personal history column that asks similar questions on refusal of visa or refugee immigration. The 2 questions seems similar but I doubt if they mean the same thing. I was denied US and UK visas in 2002 and 2007 but after that I have been to those countries at least a dozen time after the denials. the question is this do I indicate the denials for the 2 questions or which of the questions should have a yes for denials.
sorry for the long epistle
