goldfish80:Firstly the CHAN is classified on the same level with international friendlies. And so each game carries 1point and not 3points as you stated. Look at the other teams in our group: Libya, Rwanda and Equatorial Guinea. These are lowly ranked teams that we are expected to beat. Just a lose or draw against any one of them is enough to negate the whole ranking points even if we win the other 2 group games. So we must claim all 9points. That is my point. |

kennysville:“The last challenge is to find a goalkeeper who satisfies us fully. We are working with my goalkeeping coach, Enrico Pionetti,” Rohr was quoted by French website Football365.fr. Rohr says it's his last challenge, you say it's the least of our challenges. Ok oo. I rather take the words of the coach and my own assessment and that of many others who refuse to accept that the gk is the least of our problems than to go and play attacking football to shield a bad gk. You know your gk is bad but you are hoping that attacking football will save you when you still have the benefit of time to fix the problem. |

kennysville:This is another weak area in our team just like the goal keeping aspect, we can't do much about this too. our prayer is that mikel stays fit. Even a half fit mikel still looks irreplaceable. Looking for a new player as back up for mikel is a tall order now cos apart from being a player, mikel is a leader, what we should thinking is that in case mikel is not on the pitch, who will be leader on the pitch, not talking about deputy captain but a deputy leader that can also command the boys on the field of play when the match looks too difficult. |

Icon4s:CHAN is rated as confederations level competition which is a 3 pointer while Wafu and other small regional competitions like Cecafa and cosafa are 1 pointers. So I thought anyway. |

Mujtahida:Just imagine If you had judged Ezenwa solely based on his first 45mins against Cameroon and concluded and sealed a deal only for you to later see his other sides. We have not seen Uzoho enough to conclude he is the best keeper. He has not even played in a charged competitive atmosphere like Ezenwa did. Uzoho is not tested. For now I have not seen enough to conclude that Uzoho can do the job better than Ezenwa. That 45mins showing is not enough. Let's not jump into hasty conclusion that will leave us with regrets. And in the experience and performance case. Performance is in most cases tied to experience. You need to do some thing continuously over a given period of time to get perfect at it. |

Icon4s:I saw the Nigeria-Cameroon 4:0 victory again. I observed that even in that match, Ezenwa made errors that went under the radar. We were just happy to see our keeper catching crosses. In Yaounde, Cameroon scored even when they could not create chances because Ezenwa had a rush of blood to the head. Against Algeria, there were several errors.. If Enyeama does not return, then we should give Uzoho friendly games to see how he performs. Start preparing him mentally. If he gives strong showings in the friendlies, I will take the risk with him. Ezenwa is not a better risk. |

Icon4s:How are we expected to beat teams whose players play for their main team? Libya are former champs and Guinea beat us last time. |

BascoVanVeli:The FIFA ranking calculator will not tell you Team A played its first team while Team B played with its 3rd team. Result is result. And that Guinea is Equatorial Guinea and not Guinea-Conakry. It was Guinea-Conakry we played the last time. |

tbaba1234:Let us see him in more friendlies. I am not sold out on him yet. So is Rohr. |

Icon4s:Rohr is not fully confident with his keepers going by his last interview. Ezenwa by now should have made the coach confident. He has had several games. Uzoho has had just 45 minutes so Rohr will like to see more of him. |

quality post i couldn't agree more but alloy agu also contributed to this unnecessary goalkeeper crises. if he had picked the best keepers in the NPFL from beginning to deputize for ikeme by now they would have gotten the necessary exposure and experience. looking for new keepers now in the local league is almost too late considering the time it will take to acclimatise to the team. like you said it looks like we might have to manage ezenwa but for the world of me i can't understand why alampasu hasn't been tested in any game to at least ascertain if he's quality or not Icon4s: |

Not like we have none but Rohr get him own plans. Odey and co scored alot before moving. There are good strikers in the league. Last season recorded alot of multiple goals scorelines. Just the record. Away winning 0:3, 1:2 0:2, games ending 4:0, 4:1 e.t.c Icon4s: |
