Ladoja last won an election in 2003 and guess who did the magic for him? Adedibu. So Ladoja too would have been inconsequential if not for Adedibu.

As long as ladoja and akala are in different parties, ladoja cannot win. Last election akala worked for APC by being fronted in the labour party to hold the votes of ogbomoso from going to ladoja. Some gullible people keep shouting that it was rigged I just laughed at their ignorance . Oyo state politics is all about strong cliques and alignment. With what I'm seeing now APC till 2023.The way we vote in Nigeria sucks, one can easily predict who will win.

You are very correct. You can add Ibadan less cities to his area of popularity like Ona Ara LG, Egbeda and Lagelu LG. He lives in Bodija, Ibadan North LG but he has always been roundly defeated in Ibadan North.

Wake up. Ladoja has cunningly schemed Seyi into oblivion in PDP. The reason why Seyi opted for a factional congress at Oke Ado as against the Ladoja's Watershed venue but eventually Ladoja won at the NWC. Seyi is naive. The only person that could have challenged Ladoja in PDP was Teslim, but he decided to crossover to APC because he is still bitter that the PDP stalwarts in the state like Jumoke and Ayo Adeseun ( Ayo Solar) collected campaign money from PDP but spent the money on Ladoja's candidacy in Accord party during 2015 election. He said he can't see himself in the same party with these guys. He was particularly bitter with Adeseun that contested a senatorial election under PDP and a week after was advancing the candidacy of Ladoja under Accord party

Have you forgotten so quickly that SW did not support PDP in 1999, even with their son as the flag bearer, yet PDP won overwhelmingly? You need to and study post colonial elections and really get schooled in voting pattern in Nigerian election.

I totally agree with you, unfortunately Ladoja's strength doesn't go beyond Ibadan and Ajimobi will battle him for same Ibadan votes. Oyo and Oke Ogun is on lock down, If they get a deal with Akala Ogbomoso will also be locked down. It's a terrible situation that will turn Ajimobi to a Godfather.
