Pictures from the OccupyImo protest currently going on in Imo State.

It is a peacefull rally that calls for the end of bad governance in the State which is governed by Governor Rochas Okorocha.

I'm in owerri at the moment and the truth is people are suffering due to scarcity of means of transport since Rochas banned keke.
I pity those that are not mobile.

The thing that is moving market here now is handkerchief, when u drive out you will see lots of people trekking and u will think the are doing a rally but no they have their money in their pocket but no means of transport.

Rochas have converted more that 70% of government land in Imo state into his personal property and wants his son-in-law to be the next governor so he won't be probed after his handover.

Imagine giving his sister commissioner of Happiness and Couples Fulfilment and two days after the heavy backlash from people changed it to Purpose Fulfilment. Perhaps this commissioner was to be in "the other room" to check if men did their job well or if there will be an intervention by Rochas undecided

Executive banditry, parochial, nepotistic and poverty minded fellow.
Okorocha has always been a scam.

This administration has the worse governors, ministers and presidency, put together, this is the worse administration this nation has ever seen.

You can't remove a democratically elected governor from seat by carrying out a peaceful rally. You go through the legally recognized routes: law courts, elections, legislative impeachment.

Long overdue.
Rochas Okorocha made Imo state a laughing stock nationwide

Damn.......our leaders are something else. Why would a sane leader ban something without adequate replacement?

He converted government land to his personal property; that's bad! They place themselves above the masses and it's not their fault, it's ours.

But how can a normal human being ban the most readily available means of transport used by 95% of residents in Owerri?

Rochas has killed night life in Owerri. I also pity visitors and hotel owners this Xmas.

But one useless old man thought propaganda doesn't have an expiring date. He kept lying to people on NL. No matter how you cover the rot and mess in Imo state, it somehow finds a way of coming out to the public glare. Let the dance of shame and propaganda continue. The real Imolites are on the streets of Imo state protesting the bad government that has ruined their state. So much disaster is going on in the state and that is why people are protesting every day in that ordinary state. I dey laugh cheesy
