“His arrest followed his refusal to honour invitation by the Commission having earlier jumped an administrative bail granted him in a case being investigated by the Capital Market and Insurance Fraud Unit of the Commission’s Lagos office.

“Chukwuma rather than honoring invitation by the EFCC, mobilized six truckloads of thugs pretending to be staff of his company to his residence, where they manhandled EFCC operatives,” EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, said.

The guy even jumped an administrative bail and has been hiding under the wife's bed while maintaining thugs to prevent his arrest. What are those people doing in his residence, are they living with him?
He will stay very long on this.

Even if he is owing GTB,what is the business of the EFCC?
GTB should sue him and its for the courts to determine the matter!
Is Dangote not owing some banks,why has EFCC not been called to arrest him?
Buhari agenda is to plunge this nation to irredeemable crisis with his parochialism,bigotry, religious fundamentalism and crass incompetence and he is achieving his goal!!

I don't understand nairaland and the media trial

As far as I am concerned, efcc hasn't yet claimed they arrested the innosen guy
because of gt bank.

I don't get the whole point of this media trial

GT BANK can't get efcc to arrest the man just like that. There is definitely more to the story. I don't understand why people seek to solve a case through sentiment. I am disappointed at the way nairaland is milking this story.

I don't really understand why the senators have to pick sides on an issue that is yet to be investigated. There is always two sides to a story.

THE senators from the eastern region of the country are playing the JUDGE and the lawyer at the same time. I think they should be removed from any panel that maybe set up to investigate this case because of conflict of interest.

I am extremely disappointed at the way this issue is playing out.

I do not claim to know exactly how all these works, but shouldn't the court determine if he should be arrested or not for jumping bail?
