the signal strength on your receiver is okay but I don't know if the signal quality on your receiver is fluctuating or not and if it is fluctuating then follow this steps and find out the problem with your setup.
1. Check if there is any obstruction to the line of sight to your setup and if there is none then check no2.
2. Remove the coaxial cable from your lnbf. Check the tip of the cable to know if it have rusted or expired. The tip of the cable will be having substance like white powder if the cable have expired. Change the cable if it have expired but if tip have rusted then cut off the tip of the cable.
3. If the problem still persist after doing all these then change the lnbf.

there is another 1 storey building near my aaprtment..that may classified as partial obstruction.
yes my signal quality flunctuates, from 75% to 95%
have cut out the tip of the old wire-- that was the first thing i did. the signal quality increased by 10%.

i have a spare dish, wish swap the lnb..and see if anything changes.

Thanks, method worked well. I was able to delete junk satellites and add new ones and rearrange by degree.

Someone once said such HBbtv isn't possible via Satellite.

so swapped the lnb, and immediately the cracking video stopped. even though signal strength was 58% and 9%!.
so i still went ahead to optimize it...and was able to adjust it to signal strength 59%, signal quality 98%!, so everything super now

so where can i buy a replacement lnb?. how much is it, and is there a preffered make?

How will I know if its the actual satellite I'm searching for that bleeps. Do I need to input the tp on the decoder b4 tracking and go inside to check when it bleeps?
