There is time for everything Every child is expected to admire a teddy bear; He can't fully differentiate between what is and what is not, The reason a child never get tired playing or talking to toys. ![]() When an adult will not stop playing with toys, It becomes a subject of worries. Every religions are creation of the mind; it is finite. How can the FINITE explain the INFINITE? Our ultimate assignment is to realize our infiniteness, That you and I extend beyond this fleeting existence Mind and its creations need to be put in their proper place You are within, connected, complete, balanced... Come to think of it The God created by the mind is full of controversies An infinite being with the attributes of the finite; Has gender, emotional, has fear, sometimes regret, partial, selective, seeks man's help, approve murder... These are plain absurdities How can one describe the creator when the creation is not yet understood The description doesn't befit god of this planet (if such exists), let alone the creator of the universe Whoever (group or individual), that thinks the creator of ALL can be possessed is STUPID. I would have loved to say more Unfortunately, letters aren't fully cooperating with the urge Celebrate whatever bring people together ; xmas, ileya, carnivals,.... But never get attached, Religious attachment is not meant for grown-ups Remember the moment you KNOW, you stop believing Because,.... when you know, you say I know and NOT I believe Find your CENTER and stop fooling around the circumference happy xmas and new year in advance |

Ndubuisi1075:Christianity is a pagan religion from Rome..why are you arguing with them if they decide to have the birthday of their God on December 25th.? The God of the Jews or the old testament God has no son. And He is responsible for everything whether good or evil..Deuteronomy 32:39,Isaiah 45:7 |

To me, It is what you see you will get. If you see it as a pagan festival then that is what it is. If you see it as a day to remember the birth of Christ, so it is. |

God doesn't give a fvck, he still wouldn't give a fvck if we held it in June. Only thing he gives a fvck about is that we learn to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. ![]() |

His birthday could have fallen on any other day yet you would have criticized it likewise. The challenge however is that many of us think and conclude for God. In Leviticus 23, the bible has record of festivals which of them have you observed? Beware of genetically modified believes. |

Jephz:In Christianity our conscience plays a very big role. What might be sinful to one might not be to another. So the truth here is if your conscience does not accept this then just leave it to those that want to celebrate it and another thing is that There are more pressing issues that we should focus our mind on as Christians (our sinful nature as man) the fight against this nature is what makes us soldiers as Christians. Every single one of Our thoughts, words and action need to be put into subjection.put ur mind to this first and see the outcome... This definitely will lead you to more truths through the guidance of the Holy Spirit |

Christmas should not be use for clubbing and party, drinking to stupor, funication and adultery. It should be used to remember the day God manifested his love for the world, by sending his Son Jesus Christ to the world, so that you and I can have eternal life. |

dhardline:..It is true that our conscience plays an important part...... but u and I knw that ...pagan worship and Christian worship should have noting to do together .. ..now will that same conscience not tell u that what they are doing is wrong?? worshiping roman sun god ...using Christ birth to cover it. ....that's fraud!! conscience should tell that it's not right at all. |

Statsocial:Wow! I beg to disagree ! This statement..."Hence, we can only seek the leadership of pastors on these issues" among others you made is the MAIN reason early christians fought and gave up their lives that the scriptures be printed and made available to all so each person can read for him/herself..a lot of "leaders" were already being deceitful and also making mistakes but "the Church" then opposed the spread of the scriptures |

Pagan origin or not, what is important is your intention. if you celebrate christmas with the intention to praise God it's all good. It is not compulsory to celebrate Christmas especially if you don't believe in it, but it is your responsibility to respect those (your brothers, sisters, friends and relatives) celebrating . |
