You already submitted your EE as per you had ITA and now AOR? If yes . Check the Excel sheets for progression . To know your Visa office write an email to CIC to know your VO. GCSM notes should be requested as much as you ant preferably at NA2, when moved to local VO and if you are in one stage for more than 30 days(all my opinion)

Thank you optionese. Yes I’ve been on NA2 for a while now. Will try the above suggested. Bless you.

Hello.

Can someone please shed some light on this? What stage is this?

What if a profile went from the default to “medicals passed” to “we do not need additional documents” then ADR & CSE and then “add docs you provided have been uploaded” to “add docs you provided are being reviewed”?

All this while the background check has been “Not applicable”.

I think you are in NA1. When was your AoR?

Mr A needs to honor the terms of the contract with the lawyer. If you want to relieve the lawyer, do it the proper way and according to the contract.

Then you can create another profile.

DadR:
Hello E-Family,

Could you please give answer to the below question:

Mr. A has an EE profile in the pool which was created by an agent. Due to some reasons, he decides to abandon the agent as well as the existing EE profile. Can Mr. A create another profile on his own using another email address and a different NOC?

Thanks in advance.

Background check is the main thing . The documents part speaks for itself. Check the progressions below

Application Timeline Update
Just to share experience for others to be positive minded especially London VO people

IELTS: 2nd Feb 2016 (LRWS 8.5, 7.5,7.5,7)
ECA (WES) Completed: 12th July 2016 (Masters & BSc.) - Although BSc not needed
EE Profile Created: 21st July 2016 - Overall Score = 454

Waited and waited!!!! and tried Provincial Nomination but no one wanted me sad sad sad

EE Score dropped to 449 after birthday (26th August 2016) embarassed embarassed
Was alsways oberserving the draw out comes and then suddenly observed the sharp drop in January 2017
ITA: 8th February 2017 cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy Celebrated all night with my family
Document gathering became challenging, especially proof of funds as expenditure is always scattered from different accounts. My wife and I had already opened a joint account to safe up the money for this purpose there, but we had just embarked on an investment. So we started saving a fresh again into the account and transferring money from friends and family. Prepared land sale documents and deed of funds; wrote a LOE for my POF to explain all transactions in my account above the value of 250k following Vcole's advice; my LOE (POF) was 13 pages. did affidavit for 2 of the companies that have folded up now in respect of work reference. Did our medicals and finally made submission before 90 days was over. pwhew!!! grin

eAPR- AOR: 14th April 2017
Observed that I used the short form of my son's first name (Yoruba name) instead of the one written on the passport. I emailed the application center and was updated after a month.

Medical Passed: 16th June 2017
IP1: 16th June 2017

Stuck on IP1 for a month, then decided to email CIC for update. Emailed on 27th July 2017 and got the almighty automated reply that my application was sent to London VO. Kai, I just began to think all sorts - I schooled in London and was there for 2 years post study (I also did my wedding there). I had read different things about wrong NOC from marriage certificate and location of work and all etc.

Waited and waited and waited. Emailed London VO twice and no response. Since there was no response my wife decided to change her last name and get a new international passport. So, we did that and sent the new passport update to London VO
Ordered 1st GCMS notes from GETGCMS: 1st October 2017 (Notes received on 30th with all seeming to be in order)
Ordered 2nd GCMS notes from Myimmitracker: 18th October 2017

My wife's new passport got stolen so we had to do a new passport and then send another email to London VO (2nd Nov 2017). Trust me, me self tire
Emailed London VO again on the 14th November
IP2: 16th November 2017
PPR: 20th November 2017
DHL Delivery to Accra: 27th November 2017
Approved: 22nd December 2017

Total duration AOR-PPR: 220 days

Awaiting COPR

@boldinc

Thanks for the response.

The agent is actually not a lawyer. Mr. A. contracted and paid him to create a profile and secure ITA but nothing is coming forth yet. So Mr. A. is no longer comfortable with the agent and has decided to go the DIY way. Hence, can Mr. A go ahead to create another profile with same information but different NOC?

Thanks

Wishing you all prosperous 2018 in advance!

I've been married (traditional marriage) for 9 years with 3 children. However, my wife and I just decided to go to the registry for legality a few months back. I'd like to know if the recent status of the marriage certificate can in anyway count against us during documentation for Canadian PR considering that we've actually been married for long and the certificate is just 2 months old.

It’s not a problem. What you had before marriage could pass for Common-Law Partnership (which is also recognized by CIC) since you don’t have documentation to prove it. A simple letter of explanation with evidence that you only recently married should suffice. All the best!

Advice to ‘newbies’:
You either read up extensively or be ready to pay someone who has read for guidance. You can’t avoid both. Most of the seniors here did a lot of reading but many of the newcomers have become ‘feeding-bottle’ applicants, asking about every single thing. Not everything posted on this thread is accurate.
You either READ or PAY.

It doesn't have effect because that is what IRCC recognize and you are good to go.

Hi house, ive been through the most part of this thread and not really found an answer. My dad is thinking of moving the family to canada, but we are still gathering information. I would like to find out if we can go through the EE route as he is in his mid 50's already. Is there an age limit or something like that? Are there other routes we could consider? Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks.

Your dad/Mum applying as a skilled worker at their age may be a tall order. However, there could be other ways:

1) Either of ur parents may enroll for a PhD program and you guys tag along as dependents if you’re still below 22yrs of age. An uncle of mine actually followed this route several years ago. His wife enrolled in a PhD program taking him and their children along as dependents. I don’t have much detail about their application though, I would have been more explicit.
2) Those of you (children) who are eligible for EE may apply individually and later bring the parents over as visitors or even as PRs through the Parents and Grandparents program (you may want to read further on this).
3) If ur dad has enough ‘pepper’, he can explore some PNPs designed for businessmen/investors. If nominated, he then applies directly for PR taking u guys along.
4) You could use the service of a licensed immigration lawyer (not just any agent o) for the best possible route. Unfortunately, I’m not one but there are definitely options available.
