I kinda disagree with you. My uncle got his 1st usa visa, 3 days to his proposed travel date in fact he got his passport same day he travelled (2015). I even told him he was taking an expensive risk as he has already bought his ticket, rather he said there is no probs.

Oftentimes, refusal reasons are best known to the VO.

Like I said, each of the reasons on their own is not sufficient, but when you add all three it increases the complexity but yes refusal reasons are best known to the VO.

Quoting the poster, he said he wanted to 'seize the opportunity', he didn't give an impression that he had 'thought it through'.

In my Opinion (that's if it counts) i would say u shot yourself in the foot:

1. Since you have no Travel history, you can't just want to use your annual leave traveling to US as an opportunity to see just an Aunt not even your immediate family who isn't even Sponsoring your trip cos its already a red flag.

2. All you answers are just too glibber, like you memorized them like a story line.

3. Always engage the VO in discussions to make them believe you have a reason to go to the US and return back. (Take Control and Smile)

I agree with the part in bold. hehe at glibber

Nigerians always depend on God for everything, yet the country they crave for doesn't care about testimonies.

When you compare both countries, you would see their reasons to give testimony. one man's food is another one's poison. so let them be.

Good day,

Please I applied for a B1/B2 visa in October 2017 with my son and hubby but was denied see below transcript.

Come September 2018, I’ll be going for a cruise using MSC from Miami and I wish to reapply.

Two questions;
1. I have 3 options to explore and will need your advice- to reapply alone/with my hubby and kid/me and kid.
2. When can I reapply.

Will appreciate your swift response.

Gracedme:
Good day all,

I applied for B1/B2 visa this month with hubby and kid and was denied, see transcript below and advise.

Me and hubby: Good morning
VO(African/american Female VO in Window 7):passports please

Hubby:Orlando
VO: will you be having any children in the US?
Me: Chuckles..No, my baby is less than a year
VO: Have you travelled out of the country before ?
Me and Hubby: Yes to UAE for our honeymoon
Me: yes to UAE for work trip
VO: What's the trip about?
Me: Training on so and so
VO: How long have you worked in your company?
Me: 5 years now
VO: what of you sir?
Hubby: 4 years
VO: where do you work
Hubby: Bleep plc
VO keeps typing all along and finally she said unfortunately you do not qualify at this time, you may reapply anytime.
where did we miss it? hubby earns about 300k and I earn abt 500k.
The VO rejected about 4 people before us, how soon can we reapply again pls.

@LadyGuinivere , @seyewest and co please assist.
God bless you.

''A passenger, carrying two (2) brand new iphones for a friend was stopped for customs check at Dubai airport. He now faces trial, years in jail or death penalty for carrying drugs. It is sensible not to carry anything for anyone, especially if it is a sealed packet and you cannot see what is inside.''

Please don't carry any items or goods for anyone you don't know well and check and repackage it yourself. Please be careful.

What circumstances of yours changed it from a family trip in Orlando to a solo cruise in Miami...without your husband and baby.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Gracedme: 5:08pm On Jan 10, 2018
We planned a family vacation last year but was refused so we are hoping to reapply this year's holiday. But my Uncle is celebrating his birthday on a cruise hence the reason for the cruise in Miami. I'm indifferent about going alone or with my family that's why I'm asking. So if i'm going alone, definitely my strong ties will be hubby and kid.

Good day house. Pls I plan on making trips to the UK and US in the coming weeks. Would be going to the UK on a business visa.I plan on spending about a month in the UK.
Is it ok if I applied for a US visitor's visa while in the UK or do I have to return to naija to reapply for a US visa?
Thanks
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by NothingDoMe: 5:56pm On Jan 10, 2018
I have a question please. Are all ties on the same level? For example, can someone who earns 10m monthly be said to be on the same tie level as another who earns 1m?

MrA earns 500k and MrB earns 2m. Both without travel history. Isn't MrB's job tie still stronger than MrA's? Isn't this the reason why a lot of MrB's get the Visa even without travel history.

Also, can someone who earns 10m working for 9mobile be on the same tie level as someone working in DPR or MOBIL for the same 10m as monthly salary?
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by KaptainAfrika: 7:55pm On Jan 10, 2018
My opinion:
- The higher your finances, the greater your chances...logic: why will you leave a high paying job to start afresh in the US.
- The higher your finances, you are able to take your family on vacation, if it is a family visa application.
- Finances is a much stronger tie, I think.
- If you are being sponsored by your organization and your finances are good, you may be given.
- Finances here refers to income from personal business or salary from paid work.
- The strength of any tie is negated by prior misrepresentation or credibility issues.
- The US sha does not want liabilities.
- The strength of the financial tie, is determined by the presence or absence of dependants.

My interview was on the 28th Dec 9:45am,
Lagos. I got there at about 8am chilled till 9am and joined the queue.

We were in, done all checks got the slips and sat down. All of a sudden I figured they haven’t called any of us to go inside and this was after 1hr. We waited till about 11:30am before called in.

Inside was full to the brim it was like GT bank on the last day of the year. Next data-page swiping before biometrics... All completed.

Now behind the queue for the interview. The officer organizing the lines sends me to the 2nd cubicle by the entrance.

And the interview begins

Me - Good morning with a mild smile.
VO - Good morning, Kindly pass your passport please
Me - Passed my passport
VO- Why do you want to go to the US
Me- For a family Visit and Also attend a Tour (In a nearby state) mentioned the state.
VO- Are you going to this state?
Me- I’m going to Georgia but would be attending a one day tour in that state - It’s a 2hrs drive and I’ll be going for it and returning back to my Family’s place.
VO- Okay, So tell me about your Job
Me- I work in a bleep company as a support engineer, I manage servers, support users across the organization and also come up with process designs for projects.
VO- What kind of Servers do you manage?
Me- I manage Windows Servers and A Linux box too. (I guess I’ve caught his attention cos he looked at me)
VO- How many support tickets do you receive in a day
Me- I receive about 12-15 user support tickets and 3-5 server support tickets in a day.
VO- How long have you been working in this bleep company
Me- I’ve been working for 4yrs + and would make it 5yrs by Jan 7th.
VO- Have you traveled out before?
Me- Yes to South Africa twice and India once. (He scans through my passport and looks deep into the SA visa - I just returned two months ago from an official trip and the visa was still valid expiring the next day)
VO- Do you have the other passport here?
Me- Sure, glance through sees the India visa and ask - What were you doing in India?
Me- I went for my Windows Server and Linux training/certification exams.
VO- Are you single? (This question last time was when I was handed a blue paper, so I’m like yet again the single thing has come to haunt me)
Me- Yes I am
VO- Do you have any kids ?
Me- Not at-all I have no kids.
(He types for few minutes and then moves to the side where both the blue and white papers are - I began thinking must I marry before I get a visa, being single shouldn’t be a crime)

Then I hear ...

YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED!! I went into limbo couldn’t hear again. Collected the white paper and moved out.

It was a good day! Just the best way to end a year.

My advice to you is this...forget the Agent and whatever money you have paid.

Pay a new visa fee, fill in a new DS-160 and book a fresh appointment for yourself.

It will do you a whole lot of good!!!
Please sir I need your help,I want to begin a processing for a visit visa, please guide me on how to start this,I don’t mind to call you and talk on phone please.

Your personal circumstances don't seem to have changed. A different purpose for travel is not necessarily the same thing as a change in personal circumstances.

Hypothetically speaking and please don't take it the wrong way, concerning your hubby and kid, what if your true purpose is to abandon your family to live illegally with your uncle who is really your lover...how does that given your personal circumstances make for strong ties?
