Old news. I opened a thread with it then but it wasn't put up on front page. Fulani herdsmen clash is a problem across West Africa but many Ghanians erroneously refer to them as Nigerians whereas they're from Futa Jalon.

The reason fir the clashes is cultural differences in agruculture and land use. The major and long term solution is education of the herdsmen and not war against them.

It beats me how able-bodied men in Benue will be sitting around waiting to be slaughtered while waiting for nonchalant Nigeria security apparatus.

If the victims were men, I would have said "Yes! They deserve to die". How many times will they be maimed before they start defending themselves or better, go on extreme aggressive offensive against the marauding nomads.
