Or maybe you could just start a discussion about something interesting. What topics are you interested in? Is it interesting? Talk about that.

What do you enjoy doing, is it something interesting, talk about that. Do you know anything funny, anything at all as long as it's funny, share with her.

Erm.... quiet moments are ok... Control your breathing and distract your self. Basically, don't be scared or worried about awkward silence. Hold your own and stay back, lean back and let her get close to you.

Don't forget that it works both ways. She has to impress you too so don't 'carry' her through the date. If she's a shi conversationalist, then don't feel you need to composite for her weakness. Just hold your own.

You could play truth or dare...

It's a way to get to know each other and it works like charm. Google 'possible truth or dare questions for new friends'. Don't force it on her tho, especially if she's never played it before or never even heard of it.

Another way is to go the normal route of asking her questions about herself. If you do that twice or so and she doesn't ask you the same questions AFTER answering you.

My brother, just pack your kaya and go elsewhere. She's fundamentally not interested.

If she is interested, however, you can tell her you dunno what to say, because you are not used to this.

You'd be surprised how impressed she'd be by your honesty.
