What do you enjoy doing, is it something interesting, talk about that. Do you know anything funny, anything at all as long as it's funny, share with her.

Erm.... quiet moments are ok... Control your breathing and distract your self. Basically, don't be scared or worried about awkward silence. Hold your own and stay back, lean back and let her get close to you.

Don't forget that it works both ways. She has to impress you too so don't 'carry' her through the date. If she's a shi conversationalist, then don't feel you need to composite for her weakness. Just hold your own.
