My hubby cooked his own meal after I told him not to disturb me

Eggs and he stole my fried meats.

Time to make “Turkey Stew” before I go to bed in 2 hours time.

*always cook in a clean kitchen with clean equipment. cleanliness is next to “godliness” aminnnnnnn o. nothing to do with material wealth in COKE-roach/rat infested banana island mansions*

Smoked turkey meat is like KPOMO!
Abeg boil the first time after washing for like 10 minutes the throw away the water full of SALT!!! ;

Never add SALT when cooking smoked turkey.

Always have soapy and clean water when cooking to wash and drain as you go.
The dish washing water MUST have 10% BLEACH in it.

I can’t STAND a messy kitchen!

I like to boil my tomato/pepper/onion first before adding oil. Can’t stand the taste of raw tomatoes in stew! Na “marinara” sauce I wan chop?


I use low heat to cook the sauce. If it gets burnt, game over. I have to THROW it away.

I can’t STAND BLACK stew color! Yuck!
It looks old before you even finish the cooking.
The taste nko? RUBBISH!!!!


I taste the “boiling stew” from time to time to check for “rawness”!
You can also perceive the aroma of the stew when the rawness is leaving the stew.

VERY, VERY VERY LOW HEAT in a NON-STICK POT!

Turkey don ready!
Remove from fire and drain the nasty, salty water out AGAIN!

It will be added to the stew AFTER the stew is DONE to marinate to the bone marrow PRO-PRO-LY(according to Chief Zebrudaya Okoro Igwe Nwogwu ALIAS “4:30”)!

Since it is turkey stew, I will use chicken broth.

Finally, I fry the onion, Knorr cubes and some salt. . . . Then add the curry and thyme at the very end for “freshness.

No “oil splashes” please!

Here is what I do. You can try it too.

Blend the tomatoes and other ingredients. Pour in a pot and boil for about 10mins (depending on quantity). Once it begins to boil, remove from fire and pour gradually into a fine sieve. The finer the sieve, the better.

The water just drains off and the tomato remains on the sieve. Tomato Puree, they call it.

I'll post pics the next time I'm cooking.
